His entire offense is simply hoping that the hottest hand doesn't go cold and if he does he reacts too late. Unless someone goes super saiyan we can't stay in the game against good teams.
He says Alpi needs to find his rhythm...how is that going to happen if you bench him all the time, while Jalen and Fred go 4-25.
Reed with a +10 in 7 minutes, then never sees the court again. Are we sure that Podziemski is that much better than him?
I love Alpy, but he was injured earlier and hasn't been playing well. I wouldn't put that on the coach. Sengun will come around and might just need to heal up even though he won't say that publically I'm sure.
Ime Udoka really wants to get fired. Players won't care about Ime Udoka if he keeps benching Sengun and Green.
You see Kerr coaching and trusting his young guys to initiate the offense and take shots. Ime just has Fred out there pounding the rock. And if not Fred then Jalen, then Amen. Coaching guys to defend like maniacs and crash the offensive boards is high school stuff. Rick Adelman gently weeps while Mike D'antoni muffles a scream.
Alpy deserved minutes down the stretch over Fred and Jalen for sure. Fred was TERRIBLE on offense and defense. He kept of getting switched onto Draymond and getting called for fouls.
Fred and Jalen were terrible for sure, that and the lop-sided officiating cost us the game imo. Going small with Tari helped us come back and force it to overtime, so I was fine with the lineup. After the adjustments, this was a nail-biting OT loss and not a down 35-point loss. So things were much better with the latter lineups imo.
I'll give him credit for instilling physicality and defensive intensity, but everything else seems like he's out of depth Compared to actual good coaches
Seems like tonight was a breaking point for Ime and the fan base. He had a lot of good will built up but tonight he seems to have blown it. Just a shameful night by him.
