The confidence that he gained in the last 10-15 games has carried over to the start of this season. He's gotten much better in the off season. The biggest gain is in his court awareness. He knows when to pass and shoot the ball. I'm happy his defense is improving too.

Cam Thomas 20-29 = 42 (Average of 14) 30-39 = 14 (Average of 4.3) 40+ = 8 (Average 2.66) VS Jalen Green 20-29 = 73 (Average of 24.3 per year across the first 3 years of his career) 30-39 = 30 (Average of 10) 40+ = 7 (Average of 2.33) Cam has 1 more 40pt game. Jalen has WAY more big scoring games, and it's not close. If we take 20pts+ total in first 3 seasons, Jalen has 110, Cam has 60. I bet you thought Cam was gonna be much higher, right?
Absolutely not. Just wanted you to include all the best competition from his class and Cam is clearly one of them. Of course Jalen is and will be the Numero uno SG from these draft classes. Just one year under Ime's tutelage.... The best is yet to come.

The thing with Thomas is that he was originally stuck behind Harden and Kyrie so he wasn't getting the minutes that Green got.
For all those that have mentioned over and over and over again about the Rox potentially nit being tied to him and looking to trade him... One question, who does Ime want to have the ball in crunch time? Down the stretch. Even against last years WCF champions. Who?
While I have been in the pro Jalen camp since day 1, I'm honestly surprised at how much he improved in just a couple of months. He is still pretty streaky, but you can't deny he is also clutch and apart from the 1st game he has stepped up every time the team needed him. His finishing also went from average to elite, I have no clue how his handle and strength suddenly leveled up now if he gets near the rim he is either dunking it or getting fouled. I think JG is now an all star caliber talent and he went from far far behind to became slightly better than Sengun in just 3 months. Good thing the Rockets never gave up on him despite the Boobys of the world and now our team has two potential all stars without needing to do anything.. I believe the Rockets drafted the two best players in the 2021 draft and its crazy both of them arent even maxxed.

He was always miles the best player on this team. It's called dealing with a new coach, new system & being 22yrs old.
He wasnt the best player last year thats why his efficiency was horrible and he kept getting benched.
In fact all 3 of Kidd, Luka and Kyrie were asked about Jalen and they all had great things to say about him.
He was the best player on this team which is why we won 11 games in a row and played our best basketball with him running the show. The pace sped up once Sengun got injured & it unlocked Jalen
