A lot of inconsistency, but this team should probably be 5-0. Still so early, but we should have won opening night and we almost pulled off a comeback against SA after an awful start to that game. I like this team’s fight and this new, higher basketball iq version of Green. Amen and Tari with the grit and guts tonight. Scary at the end, but the Mavs are no joke. Their 2 stars are scary. Great win, and even though 3-2 isn’t 5-0, I do like some things I’m seeing from this team. If we can do them consistently, we should be looking at playoff basketball next April. Go Rockets!
Mavs will say they almost pulled off a comeback and should win Happy to see Jalen's improvements so far.
meh…u could do this exercise for a bunch of teams in the NBA the Clippers could easily be undefeated right now for example, but they’re not
When you’re a below average offense, our record isn’t surprising . We’ve gone on a long scoring drought every game. Tonight through the first 5 minutes of the 4th we scored 3 pts and through 9 minutes we scored 10 points. Somehow coming to the game we were a top 10 offense based off the stats but I watched every game and we are not a top 10 offense or he league is just not as talented as people think.
It's early, but Haymitch really should have some washboard abs. A lot of poor food choices, but I should probably be sporting an 8 pack. Still so early, but I should have worked out my core more and I've started doing it recently after an awful start to core exercise for 37 years. I like how I've stepped up recently and this new, smarter workout plan. Also started stretching more regularly. Silly how I never stretched before, but I was a joke. Great routine now, and even though my slight belly pooch isn't an 8-pack, I do like the progress I'm seeing. If I can exercise consistently, I should be turning heads at the neighborhood pool next summer. Go me!
We should be 5-0?? According to clutchfan cornballs who literally expect perfection maybe. They should've just played perfectly and won every game. What are they, idiots?
Genuinely though, the easiest switch in the offense they need to make? Stop waiting until the last 10 mins to make Jalen the focus of the offense, he's the best scorer on the team by far. MAKE him the focus of the offense, with Sengun as your #2 option with his (typically when he's got his touch back) reliable inside game and just watch how much we take off on that end as well...FVV is way too much of a focus for a team this talented.
It’s early but my body count should be way higher. Last chick was coming home with me till she got a friend to pick her up last minute.
Indeed Sitting in top 6 So as of right now today they are only as good as any other in that top 6 with them Go Rockets
I have the Rockets starting out 13-5 or 14-4. They are right on schedule after 3 games! I had them beating Charlotte but losing to the Mavs. I expected a split of the Spurs back to back on the road. Just have to take care of business.
If we had a serious offensive system, we would’ve been 1-4, because our defense against the Hornets was just not going to overcome anything. We needed that punch in the mouth. But if we had lost tonight, then the system would’ve been our problem as well as trying to just hit a home run early in the 4th.
FVV minutes should be reduced, no doubt about that. And when he plays, he should take much less shots, while Jalen and Jabary definitely can get some more.
They already did the easiest switch which is bench Reed Sheppard. The less Sheppard plays the higher chance Rockets win.
Rockets are currently 3rd in offense rebounding % and 6th in turnover %. These two factors have driven the Rockets offense to No. 9 in Off Rating despite the atrocious shooting. I expect a little regression in the offensive rebounding numbers (though not the ranking). The Rockets should be expected to be a much better offensive rebounding team than last season with Tari, Amen, and Adams playing more than they did last season. The turnovers will likely be about the same with FVV in charge of the offense. The Rockets are shooting 26% on wide open threes when they shot 38% last season (that's about 6 points a game). I expect the shooting will improve from atrocious to not good. FVV, Green, and Brooks take most of these attempts this year and did so last year as well. I'm really interested in how the Rockets looks when they go from atrocious to not good on open three point attempts. I think the Rockets will remain one of the best in offensive rebounding and not turning the ball over.
I’m not willing to say we “should be” 5-0 given the Spurs dominated most of the first game. But 4-1? Absolutely.
