    lol get off Alpi's case

    He played just fine tonight

That contract is going to be GOLD in a couple of years after some more cap increases.

He was benched in crunch time again tonight. And the team was better with him off the floor. You can keep pretending you don’t know what that means OR you can be a rockets fan instead of a Sengun fan. Your choice.

FVV is not good enough anymore late, we need a 2nd creator in the lineup with Jalen.

With FVV and Brooks and Bari you have only Jalen and Sengun who are real threats 1 v 1.....we either need to bring Amen in, or someone else that can attack off the dribble.

As much as they're trying to find their chemistry with Klay, the fact that we just beat a team with Doncic/Irving/Thompson is kinda awesome, especially on the road.

Mavs are the defending WC champs.

    Its a good night.

    Happy Halloween all!

Alpe-magic wasn't all the way back but there were glimpses of the wizard tonight for imo the first time this season. I truly believe he's still injured from that fall last season. Bone bruises are the worst.

    Jalen Green is doing it.

Jabari's shot isn't dropping but his defense, his rebounding, his toughness is a cornerstone of this team. It's obvious how much he's worked on his body and he's not even close to final form. He's been WAY more active stepping up to guard the paint/rim. We don't win this game without his defense.

Early season Dillon Brooks is more potent than Playoff P, Hoodie Melo and 3rd quarter Klay.

And that's all the compliments I have to write about the starters.

Nah **** that, same energy always. Green was benched at the end of games last year, he's currently acting as our star player. Sometimes players just don't fit the situation or need some adjustment. That's it. Otherwise, we're gonna really ****ing suck when they trade BOTH Green and Sengun, right?

He was benched by the guy who played FVV for 39 minutes and Brooks for 41, after being a valuable contributor (+10) for most of the game.

Also, even if you're fully in Ime's corner on playing time decisions, keep in mind that benching a guy doesn't mean "I hate you and you suck". It might mean "you're still a young player who messed up on something we're trying to work on". Or even just "we need defense right now more than we need your scoring because we're ahead and the game's almost over".

I wouldn't read too much into it.

Enjoy the win in any case! I'm having a great night, hope you are too

Last years team loses this game. Good to see some maturation on the court. Big win for these guys confidence.

I did. I wouldn't call it owning but he did have some good defense although do you remember that clean block he did on Luka where he was called for a foul? Yeah, he will get a lot of those given that the refs are blowing whistles in Luka's favor when he is matched up with a non-star player

Nope. It has been the same every game this season. Not just tonight. Green is taking the leap. Trust your eyes brother.

Green got benched in more games last season than Sengun's been benched this season. That's a FACT, and I'm one of the absolute biggest Green stans/homers on this forum guaranteed.

Udoka tried his hardest to give the Mavs the dub but luckily we had Jalen Green to save the Rockets from themselves.

I give Udoka an S for the first three quarters but a big fat F in the fourth quarter for the simple reason he still overplayed FVV. I get it FVV can set up the offense but if he is playing like a scrub dont play him 40 mins wtf.

I'm also seeing a lot of people complaining about Sengun like the dude didnt just put up 17/12/4. The only reason Jalen can do his heroics is because Sengun cased both Gafford and Lively to have 5 fouls. If those 2 were in the game nobody could drive in the paint.

Yet somebody is saying that Sengun was the one clogging the paint on his own. You can find him somewhere in the thread

I don’t have to read into it. It’s plain as day. We needed this to happen and it’s happening. Ime knows what he is doing.

Just wondering ....are we now giving up on Sengun, really ? He was our All Star to start the season. We were getting rid of Jalen last year. Brooks ...same sentiment last year. FVV...one game moves a player from top shelf All Star to scrub. They are ALL going to have bad nights...every.one.of.them. Even those who played well tonight had some really bad dfensive lapses...right down the middle of the lane..more than once. My goodness. In a game or two Sengun or another of tonight's dogs will be heroes.

You know a duo called Shaq and Kobe? How many times Shaq was on the floor in crunch time?

The team isnt better with him out of the floor because he was the one who got the Mavs bigs in foul trouble. How are Green and Amen supposed to score inside if the Mavs bigs were there to block shots?

Rockets are a bad 3 pt shooting team if Sengun didnt get Mavs in foul trouble they would be there to block all of the shots inside.

its crazy to me how crazy you people are. 17/12/4 and you still try to argue Sengun didnt impact the game? LOL wtf.

People forget that teams start to gameplan around Sengun. Mavs were real physical with Alpi since the get go and yet he managed to have respectable numbers.

Who cares who’s gotten benched more? Guess what, this year Alpi is getting his ass benched and we are beating the Mavs. Go look at my post history, I hated Green, but it is clear as day what is going on here. You really think Ime is benching Alpi for fun?

Best complete early win....they need to go at least 6-4 each ten game stretch which they are on pace....

The starters to bench was solid and built comfy lead in tough road game vs division rival

That lineup with Eason/Thompson/Green and whatever else two seem to be the lineup that caused havoc for the Mavs

But each rotational player seem to have their moments and they weathered a run that you know was inevitable, and the young bulls and vets showed up

    On to the next one
