Don't forget legit defensive ability also. He's not a 1-way player at all any more, he might not be getting defensive counting stats but people are not scoring well against him at all. He's actually the best 2-way player on the roster now, none of the better defenders have the offensive chops to come close to making up the difference.
You didn't see the OKC game last year? That's still the most dynamic and clutch performance of his career.
Booker doesn't have the explosiveness or quickness of Jalen, but he has a stronger and wider body and knows how to use it to an advantage.
Team high +12 in a 6 point win. FVV team low -12 in a 6 point win. I actually thought he got fouled a lot on drives but the refs weren't giving it to him. He doesn't have the touch foul privileges that Doncic has.

Same goes for DD and his "he's a good player, but not a star player kind of player" lol. Though he's very used to stuffing his pie hole so it'll be an easier adjustment for him than Booby.
Only thing missing from this is that link where Luka said Green was superstar in progress last year or so ago And just like that, Green acknowledges Luka with a quasi-dagger...... Definitely momentum stopper and a tad more cushion to bring it home Long live the 8 game bust-scrub-fluke
If he plays like this for an entire season then his year 3 slump might go down alongside Steph Curry's ankle as one of the absolute luckiest contract negotiations ever lol.
Jalen Green created his own 3 point shot and extended the Rockets lead from 100-97 when it was most needed. Plays like these will increase his confidence as a scorer.
He hit some big buckets at the end to help lock in this win, but what I found myself getting most excited about was the defense again... the block on Kyrie and stonewalling Luka. Last year's Jalen would have went flying when Lucka bumped him on that back down. The offense in the 4th was great, but the consistent effort on defense is what is bringing a smile to my face.... Oh and the kid grabbed 12 rebounds...c'mon this is no fluke, this is a new attitude backed up by actually getting stronger in the off season.
Yup, and to add on the entire team played high level collectively being they put their foot on their necks and bunch of the young bulls hit key shots/made plays all thru the game And to weather that run was nice, being that it was playoff type atmosphere and beating defending WC champs in their building.......is a huge confidence builder for both players n coach staff The Rockets have everything you need, just need to improve overall shooting They won this game being the lesser efficient fg%...... That is huge for confidence against a legit contender, especially on the road (and at home)
