He's campaigning there because they aren't trying to win, they are trying to put up this mirage that they are winning in a landslide. His campaign staff also are okay with this because they know that he needs to be out there technically, but they also know that the more voters see of Trump, the worse off he is politically. Sending him to New Mexico and VA are a way of hiding him from the voters that matter. Put him over here where he can do his thing, say he did this rally and that rally, and hopefully the dumb crap he says goes unnoticed. I also think theres a theory here that if he goes to places he normally doesn't go it'll draw bigger crowds because they rarely get to see him in their area, and again it goes back to the mirage of success. If you look like a winner than you are more likely to be a winner. I think that's all this is, but his campaign staff also know he needs to be hidden and sanitized these final days.
If there's one thing Jordan Klepper does well it's interviewing the MAGA base. I was surprised when the MAGA voter went to a Kamala Harris rally though.
Rogan doesn't need her, she needs him... And badly, she is either dumb or the people around her are MAGA and poorly advising her. If Rogan invites you, you drop everything and you go.... These are millions of listeners in a setting people trust more than her biased town halls and liberal news interviews.... Her chance to just sit down and be real for a few hours all while getting the attention of millions could have been critical... Anyways, its too late down..... Ya'll can discuss what she could have done differently to have had a better shot next week....
FWIW, Politico is reporting that in early voting, women outpacing men. In MI, NC, PA and GA, outpacing by 10 percent.
She's smarter than you, we can confirm that much. MAGA voters and long gibberish posts...guess it's just a lack of education. If Trump is reelected I'm sure he'll get right on that by dismantling the Department of Education.
I don't care if you think it was good or not good for her to agree to his terms. That isn't what is being discussed. What I am talking about is the false narrative that she refused to do the interview.
@Scarface281 Good job arguing on behalf of Trump that he would never ever talk bad about Americans that don’t support him.
Haha, he’s not wrong. She too often talks in circles without saying much of anything. That said, his running mate’s ability to communicate clearly and cogently is severely impaired.
That's pretty crazy considering the one who is cognitively impaired sat down with Joe Rogan for a 3hr casual conversation while unburden what has been can barely do an hour that's heavily scripted....
No disputing Trump’s talent for saying a lot of words (with many repeats) and filling up time off the cuff. Just don’t think those words add up to a whole lot in his case either. So, while I grant Vance’s quip is accurate (and funny!), Trump isn’t exactly an articulate alternative. Vance and Ramaswamy? Sure. But not Trump.
This idea that Trump never bad mouths Americans ignores that he's even put down his own supporters calling them low educated.
I still think it is likely Harris wins the election but I think there will be many many road blocks put up to keep her from the presidency. The Trump campaign has already been claiming massive fraud and since 2020 has put in place a larger and more sophisticated operation to challenge the vote and certifications.
