Mr IN between is really good, the dude is low key and the show flows nicely.......I do like shows cast in another country with different accents.
That’s my favorite scene and episode. I was at a bar in Waterford this past August I was talking to some locals and I did the “so Father I hear you’re a racist now.” And they burst out laughing. They told me I really was Irish because I knew Father Ted.
I'm not sure if it's obscure...was to me at least. Saw it umpteen years ago, but it had already been out a while. "But I'm a Cheerleader" is so good. Funny and heart-felt movie Also this song is unreal amazing
Just rewatched "Over the Edge" for the first time in decades the other night. Not sure how obscure it is (I've seen it mentioned in here before), but it nails it's time perfectly. Plus, the Cheap Trick heavy soundtrack is top notch. It's free on Tubi. I don't think "The Warriors" is terribly obscure, but I'll be sitting down for my annual re-watch tonight.
One of my favorite movies as a kid. I've been trying to find it for years. It was one of first movies shown on cable tv on some new movie channel called HBO, or something like that. Also Matt Dillon's first movie.
"The Paper Tigers" is a stupid fun independent martial arts movie. "Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai" is a Jim Jarmusch movie (akin to saying it's a Wes Anderson, Scorcese, Burton movie...he has a style) Both were quite fun.
Since a handful of people mentioned Peep Show, Mitchell and Webb had another show recent that we really enjoyed..... Movie wise, I always mention The Rules of Attraction to people as an under appreciated film.....
