I try to take the high road during discussions whenever possible, and even when people are regurgitating what they hear from the mainstream. Have any of you that feel so strongly about the endless accusations thrown at Trump ever wondered why they all turned on him? They continuously accuse him of wanting to use the justice system to "go after" his political enemies (while they do so). What are they really afraid of? They used to love them some Trump, but it's almost like he's got secrets on them or something..I've never heard him talk bad about the american people, yet many of the left including the top leader (and OP)has called out his supporters as something less than. He typically calls out government leaders (right and left) for corruption or incompetence, not the people voting them in, and instead of looking into that, people get offended like he's talking about them, lol. I came into this election season with an open mind, and I've got to say I'm not buying anything the left is selling...not Kamala, not Waltz and not the fear mongering about Fascist racist republicans. The fact that RFK jr., Tulsi,, and Elon are a part of this has changed a lot for me personally. Most people tend to listen to the easy "news" (mainstream) and if everyone is saying the same thing it's very powerful. But when those sources are funded by the same groups, it is just a narrative. The fact that many have bought in is the real threat, mindless following of those on the payroll will be their biggest let down. There are sooo many stories, articles about corruption throughout our government, and justice system, you have to be very naive to believe in the validity of most of what you're being told. I don't know any of you personally and wish you no ill will, I do hope that our country finds it's way out of the chaotic divide we are currently in. But it is going to take intelligent conversation and compromise, minus the hard lined accusatory mindset most are currently engaged in. That seems to be the go to for a lot of people on the democratic side, which was the turning point for me...not trying to offend, just my personal experience. One question before I go, if republicans are the racist, why are the democrats the ones always bringing race into things? When can we just all be Americans? Be well

 

I won't close down the schools either, I just won't have the federal government involved in them at all. I also won't make the roads private, because post roads are one of the few powers of the government specifically mentioned in the Constitution. The vast supermajority of roads are state or local anyway, just like the schools.
