Bucks has looked terrible this season losing to the Net and Bulls. This Dame thing is not working out in Milwaukee and Greek Freak is not likely to extend. Rockets have an abundant of trade assets and should use it on him. Jalen Green and Sengun plus picks for Greek Freak and filler would be a win/win. Milwaukee can start their rebuild with two great young pieces and Rockets get move to phase 3. Rockets can start Giannis (new Hakeem), FVF (better Kenny), Jabari (young Thorpe), Tari(new Horry), and Dillon(new madmax). We still have Reed (scotty brooks), Whitmore (Athletic Elle) and Amen (athletic Sam Cassell). We can't make the trade until Feb but this should be high on Rockets radar if they want to make a series run this decade because it gives us a bona fide star. We can convince Giannis (whose parents are Nigerian) that Houston has been great for other African players e.g. Hakeem also Nigerian.

Lol is Milwaukee an understudy of the Rockets....

Brook Lopez even refused at the last second.

And I guess I would prefer the 2025, 2026 drafts over these players and I do like them now.

I’m not sure this would make us a contender if you give up both Jalen and Alpi

I don't think Giannis is the level of talent right now where he is clearly your best offensive weapon and you are a legitimate contender.

Giannis would need someone like a hypothetical prime Jalen Green paired with Giannis to space the floor and have a dynamic perimeter scorer paired with him because Giannis has similar weaknesses that Sengun has.

So no way I'd give up both. At this point I'm not sure I would want to break up Sengun and Green for a almost 30 year old superstar. That trade would reduce our timeframe of relevance because Giannis has like maybe 3 prime years left so then you are stuck with a over the hill diminishing Giannis on a squad with younger dudes like Jabari waiting for a new 1A to replace the aging Giannis. It's not like Giannis relies heavily on skills over raw talent and athleticism that allows longer primes similar to Curry or how Harden is still so effective today. Giannis will leave superstardom more abruptly than guys like Curry once he loses his downhill athleticism.

Giannis looks… a bit broken down. His whole game is athleticism and he is on the downside of his career athletically. He doesn’t look like Lebron physically. I wouldn’t make a trade for Giannis knowing it would take a Kings ransom to get him

a lineup of FVV, Brooks, Tari, Bari, and Giannis isn’t doing a damn thing…that’s not even better than the current Bucks

calling Giannis a new Hakeem is wild…Hakeem purchased off Temu…off-brand used version of Hakeem with expired warranty

    New Hakeem? Hell no

certainly better than OP’s lineup because Giannis will at least have a scorer next to him in Green, but Giannis at C isn’t sustainable

Please stop, c'mom. That's been a rough 4 games to start the season, but we must turn things around with this group in order to atract a superstar in the first place. As supporters, all that is left for us is root for the current Rox squad.

I think we should trade for Jokic instead. Denver is looking bad to start season.

Yeah, because we are all looking to be back in the lotto in 5 years. Short term thinking equals short term results. I would rather grow a team that competes for titles for the next decade than trade all our youth to chase a title in the twilight years of a player who was never particularly skilled in the first place.

I mean for that matter, let's trade for Wemby - San Antonio is going to be bad this year - why do they need him when they could just tank to draft Flagg this year? LOL.

I think if Giannis wants to continue to be a superstar it will eventually be at the 5. Luckily the NBA is moving to the stickmen at that position so if he puts some extra sand in his pants it could be an interesting transition for him as he ages.

We kind of already have poor-man Giannis in Amen so....

I can actually see jokic wanting out. His ownership is cheap and let go key role players each year. The team struggling. Westbrook is a disaster. They are barely beating some of the worst teams it maybe a long season for them.

Why would anyone want Giannis here?

He'd foul out with 6 offensive fouls in the first half, if he played for the Rockets.

He'd average 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 travels in his 14 minutes on the floor each game in Rockets red.
