Green is going to show a lot of doubters this year why it's worth taking a gamble on some of the things Rockets gambled on with Green.

His shot has improved a lot and I am not talking about just the percentage. He spent all summer fixing 3 different things, which could've backfired. Usually players will try to fix one thing on their shot per offseason.

Looking forward to seeing All Star Green this year

He says "lock in and get it done" because he probably knows that he has no offensive plan too.. He just stands there on the sideline and watches his selfish, low (basketball) IQ players shooting 1 million threes per game.. Hoping that some of them will get in..

You want another 9 minute stretch with no scoring?

    Do not want.

I think if Alpi knows he is the guy & when he gets doubled one of the other players will be open = scoring from outside.

I am re-envisioning the 94 - 95 Rox - except with Alpi in the middle. Yes,I know Alpi is not Hakeem.

What's going to be hilarious is even if he has a month of great games to start the season, the first "bad" game he has, the same dudes will talk ish.

I mean this low IQ, selfish team had one of the biggest jumps in wins last season. Hope did all that?

My wife took me to my first NBA game last night. Spurs fans were relentless booing him and the team from the shootaround until the game was decided. I wore my Green jersey, after all we share the same last name. My wife is not a Rockets fan but she was impressed how Jalen played in particular. She thought I'd be excited when we were up 20 but I told her Rockets teams historically give up big leads lol and of course they made me a truthteller. I think the hostile environment inspired them to the win last night. Rockets fans were taunting the Spurs fans with cheers on the way out of the stadium. It was petty but I was lmao.

Yes, against relatively weaker teams.. Run and shoot 1 million threes.. No offensive plan, sets, nothing.. If it was the opposite, you would at least make the play-in.. With such a non-existing offensive system, failure eventually awaits you.. And you will win nothing..

Don't worry dude, give it another few games you're going to see major strides. The team is actually trying a very different offense than last season (way more pace and space, have to think a lot faster) so some players are still adjusting.

Right now the team is stuck between the old way and the new way. Fred is a slow runner but he knows how to play fast if needed. I think Brooks - despite the great game against Wemby - is not really fitting in with the starters or bench offensively. The game is defense and offense. Tari is just as good if not a better defender. If he's going to shoot roughly the same as Tari from 3 (neither scores well inside), then you have to go with Tari for the rebounding, stocks and transition advantage. Clear as day to me Tari is a better fit right now even if he were shooting slightly worse than Brooks. Would be a killer running mate in transition with Green.

Once this change is made to an overall FASTER starting lineup, you're going to see things getting much easier on Sengun and Green. That's our competitive advantage, we have an elite group of athletes, we can run and jump like crazy. In fact, committing to more pace and space suits our entire core including Sengun. They almost all excelled more in a faster pace last season. We have a lot of great athletes and passers. Will open up a lot of cutting and transition opportunities. At the moment they have to work too hard to get their points. This will allow a more balanced attack and easier shots for our best scorers.

Soon afterwards Sengun/Amen/Green will improve their shooting to be able to share the floor together (maybe soon) and when we have these 3 meshing on the floor we'll be so difficult to beat. Jabari, Tari, Cam and Reed would be great compliments if they're shooting well.

These are great problems to have. We have so many options.

Jalen has always showed up when we played dogshit teams because if he starts the game well his confidence keeps growing and he looks unbeatable and he usually scores early points against those teams. His issue has always been going from being complete dogshit to be playable against above .500 teams. We played bunch of lottery teams so far and he's doing great as expected. We are playing Mavs, Warriors, Knicks and Thunders next and Pistons (he should go super saiyan against them) if he doesn't show up in these games just get him out of here at the end of the season because i've seen enough of it. Then again you can only beat what's in front of you and he's doing good so far.

And who gave a statement about that new, different offense and said "we are trying this and that.." ?

You think the Ja Morant Grizzlies are a lottery team? You’re an idiot.
