Fun Fact: Zach Greinke has a higher playoff batting average than Arson Judge. And they call him Arson Judge because he burnt down the Yankees season.

So it's basically known he's slow and this from The Athletic when he was robbed but also slow running during the Royals series.

Giancarlo Stanton was the 284th fastest player in MLB this season among 288 players with at least 100 competitive sprints, according to Statcast.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone was asked if it’s realistic to execute their plans on the bases with someone who’s running at “half speed.”

“He’s more than half,” Boone said. “It’s a controlled gait that he knows he has to get into. He’s burned himself when he tries to throttle back up or down. That’s when he knows he’s been (compromised). It is something you kind of have to live with. Whether you’ve seen it over the years with a particular player who is incredibly slow but still impactful, it’s just something we have to accept.”

Stanton injured his hamstring this summer while running the bases. He also hurt his hamstring last season by running harder than usual on a double hit to the wall.

The reality is that this is Stanton’s speed at this point in his career.

“He’s got to do what he’s got to do,” Boone said. “He’s trying to reach his top speed in the most fluid way he can

What if the Astros didn't own Judge and he is just bad in the postseason?

I wonder what the ratings were between the MNF game and the WS?

MLB was really on a high after game 1. There were 17 articles about how the ratings were amazing and they were gearing up for a fun week.

Now, it’s pretty much fizzled. Short of Ohtani going off in game 4, I expect the numbers to settle in somewhere around Astros 2017 or Cubs 2016. Still better than any of the last 7 WS, but nothing what they were hoping for with this matchup.

I’m also pretty tired of the Fox production. Jeter has actually been pretty good… but he has to bite his tongue while A-Rod gets the featured spot (or he thinks he’s the featured spot). Papi was good comic relief at first but now he’s just trying to force it, and theres just not much analysis.

It’s embarrassing when Freddy Freeman looks 1000x more polished on TV than A-Rod who continues to just wing-it and exhaust every cliche. Everybody already thinks he’s a weirdo…. If he’s not saying or providing anything of substance, why bother with him?

When the Astros were up 3-0 in the 2022 ALCS he showed his team the highlights of the Red Sox coming back from down 0-3 to win the ALCS...against the Yankees. Time to bust that out again Aaron.

Sad thing is he is only the 2nd most punchable ex Astro that managed a game this year. He will move to #1 with Servais gone.

I keep seeing Yankees fans call Judge the Harden of baseball…

    Nah, he’s way worse.

Makes me sick that Dodgers fans are going to celebrate a championship, but I am glad that piece of **** Brian Cashman goes home empty-handed again. Mainly just sick.

MLB FORCED this matchup. I hope they lose money over it. A sweep in the WS?
