    I made a point.

YOU are being obtuse because you're trying to turn MY point into your point WITHOUT ADDRESSING my point.

Do you normally gaslight people this quickly? Seriously, let it go. You could just say "yeah, he had a tough few minutes there but he'll get it back" but no you had to act like he didn't at all have a difficult 4th BECAUSE of the rest of the game or BECAUSE we have so few offensive options.

Those becauses don't apply to his play. Do I think Sengun played poorly again? Yup. Did I think FVV was pretty useless in the 4th until that last 3? Yup. Do I think anyone really stepped up individually in the last 15 minutes of game time?

Nope. In fact, I think in the 4th this became the Spurs game to lose. They were down 8 with 10min left after being down 21, and had all that momentum, but they couldn't make enough shots and every few minutes we'd hit a 3 to keep them at bay.

The same thing happened the other night but opposite, we totally could have won that game. No one was stepping up for them in the last quarter.

Just because Jalen is the best option in crunch time doesn't mean he doesn't get to wear that responsibility on his shoulders when it's over. You don't get to have it both ways, heck Harden did that for almost a decade here scoring at all the times that didn't matter for the most part, but if you dont come through when it matters then eventually that's going to be a problem.

If he was going to ISO and take all of those shots, no matter who he is surrounded by, that's his burden. Take the good shots, make it or don't, but if you dont then it's a reminder that there's still work to be done, progress to be made, and own it. He doesn't need to make excuses about it, and neither do you. Overall he had a great game, but you just had to pack in all your whataboutisms and try to make it about anything else than the 1 thing I was saying, and then tried to act like I was the one being obtuse.

If Sengun doesnt figure it out they’re going to have to make a trade to take the next step intheir progression.

but also they should’ve sell the farm for one player beucse they’re not one player away from competing. They do need another dependable scoring option. Like a Derozan

And also maybe a stronger rebounder . Our front court has been getting killed

What makes this more impressive Spurs have some pretty good wing defenders. Malakai, Keldon Johnson, Sohan, everyone took turns trying to stop JG and they just couldnt do it.

Sengun will look better but there are certain matchups that he will struggle with, and unfortunately it will be the Spurs as Wemby continues to get stronger. He can’t bully him like he did last year because he’s a little stronger. But this is the type of game for Jalen where he can iso and come off picks for shots.

No win is easy. Silas didn't waste him, he was young and needed to get stronger. His body frame wasn't ready to get wins consistently. Don't act like Jalen was this good back then.

Some of our fans are eaten up with the DA. Who is the bum of the night this game ? Sengun ? Tari ? Amen ? Oh...I got it...let's talk about Banchero...a guy who we were never going to get. What brilliance...so, you would trade Sengun, Jalen, Bari....I mean who wouldn't you trade for Banchero ? So, each night...hell each qtr., we have a player slide from hero to ZERO. ALL players have a bad night...they just do. Must we overreact each game. next game Sengun will be back to the franchise player. If a player hits a game winner, he's the new franchise player. It's comical. Most of the people here had Jalen as the player that needed to be traded, now he's underpaid. OK...whatever you say. LOl.

Had that shot went in, it would’ve been one of the plays of the year. Alas…

I'll feel so much better about this team if we can get a game where Sengun and Green are both cooking. A Wemby defended team might not be the team do that maybe.

I don't need any more stress in my life. Between the Longhorns, Texans, and now Rockets -- the last few days of sports have not been good to my stomach. All W's but stressful af. Good win.

I am not concerned, but a little disappointed in Sengun. Just not playing smart, tough, decisive or athletic. Since that first half dominance in G1, he's been at times the worst player on the court. Not playing confident.

Tari. Such a spaz. I love him, but he too is stressful to watch when he has an active dribble lol

Bari with the clutch shot. I thought he played okay tonight. Still need him to be a little tougher and his defense on ball was really bad a few times. Outside shot looked better. His shot had looked a bit flatter than usual to start the season, in my view.

Green looking like a steal at that contract right now...there's a certain somebody on this board who's obstinate refusals to admit Green's talent are not aging well.

As the broadcast repeatedly said...taking us way too long to get into our sets. It's like once we can only score in bunches and when we are playing at peak confidence and rhythm. Once we lose it, for whatever reason like a stoppage in play, it's like we forget how to play offense and become a shell of ourselves. We either score 10 in a row, or give up 15. I'm being a bit hyperbolic, but point stands.

it’s not even about Wemby for me…this dude was getting handled and bullied by Sochan both games…his rim protection has been nonexistent, teams just attack him in the paint with zero fear

What? You have teammates, and they all win together and lose together. Sometimes, you play well, and sometimes, you don't. That is just the way it is. Because Sengun can't jump high, a guy like Wemby is hard to stop.

Some of you guys are so funny. Not long ago you were firmly on the trade Jalen train. Now after two bad games, you hopped onto the trade Sengun train. Impatience at its finest.

Shout out to Jabari. I thought he took good shots and didn't rush them like he does sometimes. These are the kinds of games we need this season. 17-8 with 2 threes. You take that every day of the week.

it is what they do. I have said the past few years to have patience but some of the fans don't.

That was an annoyingly close game. Lots of work to be done but good win.

I think they’re struggling with pecking order given how good Jalen has been. But I think Sengun just needs to be aggressive when he gets his opportunities. Keep it simple big man!!

I can see this team will be good, just keep working fellas. On to the next.
