Maxey always credits Harden for his growth. I would imagine he would have done the same for Green if Green wanted to be taught. The Rockets dropped the ball choosing mediocre Fred over Harden.

Harden looks like his former HOU self over the last 3 games. That's MVP Harden!

Last season, he avg 16.6pts and 8.5a (2.6TO) for the Clipper. FVV avg is similar: 17.4pts, 8.1a (1.7 TO).

Let's see if this is a renewed Harden after ~20 games...

You are right although having them do a sign and trade would potentially put them in a bind hard cap wise as it will push them past the first apron and I don't think they would do it although I do like the idea of having Harden over FVV in the future

Harden been a boss so far to start the season. Carrying a bunch of role players and scrubs to a 2-1 record against 3 tough teams.

FVV had a below league average TS% last year. Harden had an above leave TS%.

Last year when George and Leonard played, Harden didn't have the ball in his hands nearly enough

Calling a context nonsense is quite wild, but at least you are honest you don’t want to truly be honest and open here. At least I can admit that Harden is obviously the better player in almost every single aspect, yet at the same time acknowledge that FVV is bringing a lot that we needed.

Don't disrespect Kris Dunn. He guards the best players and grabs crucial offensive rebounds. It made me laugh when the announcer said ," Kris Dunn with the rebound, who else?".

Paying fvv 40 mil to lead an offense that is 29th in ast per game.
But harden will hog all the shots and not develop our youngsters is the worry.

    I cant with Harden haters.

How are those two propositions contradictory? Harden is taking 19 shots per game v. FVV’s 13. It’s absolutely fair to wonder if Green would be breaking out like he is with Harden at point.

If Harden can make Maxey shine, somehow it can't be done with green?

U don't even factor how harden can elevate the other youngsters on our team. Right now fvv is just handing the ball to Jalen and hope he iso his way to victory.

Harden is making the likes of zubac, Powell and jones look good with his playmaking.

Maxey averaged 18.7 ppg with Harden. He’s now averaging 31+. Harden may support a young guard, but he would never defer to one like FVV.

If no one else will say it, I will -- I guarantee part of the reason Morey didn't pay Harden is because he had a budding star in Maxey and knew Harden would never completely hand over the reigns. Morey then took the money and used it to pay an off-ball forward who better complemented Maxey.

Harden would have been good for Green last year and terrible for him this year.

Another night Norman Powell has a 30 piece and Harden 19.......

    • Both fall to the Trail Blazers.

    • Zubac goes back to being a semi scrub and they lose.

10 assists. They lost by one and like u said zubak went semi scurb.

Powell sg scoring 30 pts with current season averaging 24 when his career average is 12. (Doubling) That's harden offense playmakibg right there

They are a Play In at best and an 11-12 seed at worst.......not that I care about....

Harden cannot do anything about it, the team has to come down to earth.

I never said he was not great or very good, he is just not a guy who has tons of stamina to play the Playoffs.

He always found ways to be unlucky or gassed. This time he might miss the Playoffs.

He is better than Fred (not worlds better) but it is not a deal that I am jumping at, also because I think he loves Houston's nightlife more than he loves the Rockets.

He's worlds better. Elevating a guy with career of 12 pts to 24 pts is wild. And we haven't mentioned how he's elevating everybody else on the team with his superior playmaking.

Gotta stop goal post moving. No one is talking about harden stamina or playoffs. We are talking about the playmaking abilities.

It's about how harden is worlds better than fvv at that aspect while we are overpaying fvv for 40 mil. We are running one of the slowest offense with subpar playmakin ability on a team full of youngsters? Like what?

You're talking about moving goal posts.

Winning a championship is his Numero Uno priority which he hasn't done.

Surpassing an undrafted FVV shouldn't be in his plans.

I created the goal post so you guys are moving it.

I talked strictly about finishing and shooting, and you guys were talking assists which I never even thought about.
