I was driving up on 5 North around commerce area in LA. I saw this this big reebok billboard that has Yao in the middle foreground and A.I. and another guy in the side backgound. Does this mean Rebok think Yao is a better marketing attraction than AI?
Yes considering he is not only a marketable person here in the states, but globally. So he is better to be in the fore front
I wonder what kind of theme reebok will put in Yao's TV commercial. A.I.'s is hip hop. Francis and Braon Davis is street baller, which I think is well done. I will be disappointed if it will be that sterotyped Kung fu theme. How about Yao and Eminem team up dissing Shaq.
I think those are pictures I saw in the billboard. Yao's in the middle, AI's in the left. Reebok doesnt have a Chinese page?
Funny, there are seprate pages for New Zeland and Australia. I think back when I went to China 7 years ago, Reebok is doing very well there. Chinese thought Reebok and Nike are at same level image wise.
Well, depends on what type of market you are talking about. Jamal Lewis hooked up his home boy to the market.
Cool. New Zeland and Australia has 50 cents on the front page. Korea has a couple running together. The Japan page has Yao! And the global page has Yao, AI, Aggasi, 50 cents rotating. Talking about globalization.
Actually that was a new marketing scheme that worked out quite well--promoting by 50cents rather than the normal athletes.
We have the same billboard here in Old City, Philly. I thought it was funny that Yao is in the center and AI is off to the side.
buffet? he could be the dude that reaches over and around the roof of the buffet line, reaching past the spit shield, to get the egg rolls on the other side.
