Clearly when he says he wants to use the National Guard or the military against the enemies within, he isn't referring to using it against everyone he has ever called an enemy. Delta isn't going to assassinate Adam Schiff in the middle of the night. Pelosi isn't getting a drone strike in San Francisco. The whole idea that Trump is going to target his political opponents with the military is silly.

I won't take that bet because likely a military officer will refuse to obey a clearly unlawful command. That doesn't mean Trump won't try just like he tried in his last admin to get the DOJ to go after his political opponents but was blocked by members of his own administration. It's a nice dodge, because you know you would lose the bet, but you get to pretend that you really think Trump would order the military to attack Adam Schiff. I don't think you actually believe that, but at least you are tacitly acknowledging that the military won't be attacking Democrat politicians. That's a good start. What I am saying is that any fears that a Trump presidency part 2 will result in any of the things that we are being told by the Democrats and the media (read: lied to about) are probably nonsense. If Trump is elected this November, we will still have democracy, there won't be death camps, women won't be forced to live a Handmaid's Tale like existence, there won't be a trans genocide, Russia won't take over all of Europe, the US military won't attack Democratic politicians, etc. You shouldn't take seriously anything said by any politician that you know is nonsense.
