You were contesting me saying he played ok and told me I didnt watch the game? Now you literally just wrote a bunch of BS? Are you just arguing for the sake of it? If you arent saying he played like a star why did you even reply to my post? Also 6/0/2 is definitely mediocre. Not sure how to break it to you maybe you should look at bench players who actually produce during a game.
I'm coming around to the g-league idea. I think his confidence has taken a hit. He'd gain more experience as a primary ball handler and creator which would help him contribute. Getting two looks and then hitting the bench isn't doing anything for him or the team.
Reed needs to stay the hell away from the rockets trainers. Last player we developed was Yao Ming, and that's because of JVG and CD. John Wall was right, what the rockets teach will you get out the league in no time. John Wall’s awful experience with the Houston Rockets | Run Your Race | Theo Pinson
I can feel his confidence is not there yet.He only shoots 2 3p a game. He's just getting used to the league.
4-17 from deep counting preseason and regular season he regularly passes up shots when he has a little bit of daylight he has role player “I was the 30th pick in the draft” mentality this man was a #3 overall pick, play like it
He’s a young rookie that looks like a young rookie. I’m not worried about Reed. If he still looks lost and tentative by season’s end I’ll worry, but not 3 games in.
It has only been three games, but to be fair I'd like him to stay aggressive. Each game he's becoming a little bit more confident to his credit. Bur yes, if he continues the trend 20+ games in, perhaps dominating in the G league would be good for his rookie development.
Reed's problem is, that his team wants to win instead of developing a rookie. So far he didn't do anything wrong in my oppinion. He played within the game, didn't force anything and didn't really do mistakes. That also resulted in him taking a back seat whenever he is on the court. If he was our rookie 2 years ago, he would average 30 minutes a game and corresponding stats. Now he is kinda getting the Amen treatment. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he is in the g-league before long and then slowly getting more minutes until the end of the season.
