Jabari and Cocaine Curry lost their shooting touch the moment Rockets trainers trained them.

    Who are these guys?

We can't afford a player who this season, right this second is getting paid $9 million less than our current star PG? Sounds like cap to me.

Yawn. You're a more boring alt account than most tbh, just stick to your main one this is tedious.

Sengun's defense got exposed tonight. It's a major concern going forward because we might not see it nightly in the regular season but I guarantee it'll be a problem come playoff time, if we even make it there.

Don't you think what I say makes sense? We play better without Sengun...

I think you're a tired alt account, trying your hardest to trigger people and mostly failing because people can see straight through the act. Do you genuinely think anybody buys it? Especially after you accidentally posted rationally from this account instead of your primary one the other day.

The defense is really good and we have two elite defenders off the bench too.

The offense however is really predictable, a little too selfish and too forgiving of players taking bad shots. Ime needs to allow way less autonomy and design an offense that balances the shots better - we need to have a balanced attack to counter big scorers. We need to make it as easy as possible for our scorers to be efficient.

Udoka is figuring things out and he usually does by around mid season. Ironically, he's the Jalen Green of Head Coaches. Much better post-ASB. In some ways I guess.

I don't understand why we didn't hire a better lead offensive assistant. It would help us and Udoka's development in this area. Wish we could get someone like MDA to come in for half a season as a technical consultant. Maybe hire a lead offensive assistant full time. This staff is excellent but they may be lacking in this one area.

I know we'll figure out the offense eventually but a good team has this **** figured out within 5-10 regular season games. Most of the rotation is familiar with what we did last season. The offense should be further along by now. Let's give it a couple of more games though - there are some signs that things are improving. If Sengun and Green have improved their shooting and the other 3 at least remain the same we're going to have a significant improvement from that alone.

Obviously if you want to go faster and shoot more.. you need better shooters around Green and Sengun. The defense is great Ime we can chill on that for a second. We need to design some more offensive plays, improve the shooting and have a more balanced attack (share the ball more, transition more, unpack the paint more for Cam/Amen/Green to attack the rim). Sengun needs help, teams are just packing the paint throwing defenders at him and that simultaneously packs the paint too much for our wings to attack the rim.

I like Brooks but we need a better shooter in that spot. For example if we had Mikal Bridges or OG Anunoby, he's at least as good a defender as Brooks but a way bigger threat to hurt you if you don't guard him properly. If Eason's 3PT shot has improved by 1-2% he would be a much better fit at the 3 in the starting lineup. Brooks is more of a 4 in an uptempo unit but he's not a good rebounder so it's not a great fit with Sengun.

Hopefully these things are taken care of sooner rather than later.

Our offense blows. Been spoiled by harden and cp3 playmaking that watching fvv trying to distribute the ball is just sickening

The Rockets had an offensive rating of 107.7 last night...horrible loss.

They had an offensive rating of 108.7 in the loss against Charlotte...horrible loss.

Last season, the Rockets had a record of 5-21 in games they had an offensive rating worse than 109.

You had all off-season to fix the offensive incompetence. Get it together. Change personnel, schemes...I don't give a damn. Fix it.

He came out in the 3rd quarter and played great defense. First half he was just running around setting picks and not doing anything. 106 defensive rating prior to yesterday's game, best on the team.
Check that, 105. It wasn't defensively that he was held accountable.

Aussie went at it offensively without hesitation. This is why you have a bench.

When is Adams happening? I'm hoping he'll recover us from this spin. Put Shep, Cam, McVeigh, and Nate (yes, Nate) around him for some rainmaking. Mix Amen in/out for any of those shooters.

Amen has decent form. I think he'll knock down a serviceable 3pt% this year.

If Jabari doesn't learn to use the backboard Duncan-style for those flat middies he's clanging... I know he's young, but I've just about given up on him as a 3&D. I cringe every time he has to create. C'mon Jabari, get over to the corner, get ready, get those legs under you, get some lift and arc on those shots! Or get your butt on the bench.

Maybe the most encouraging surprise to me so far has been JG's effort on defense and his all-around hustle.

You can replace him in the example with your favorite 3&D player. The point is I think we have the assets to acquire or promote someone who can give us better shooting with at least the same level of defense.

I thought he was saying replace/trade Brooks not Bari?

Maybe I skimmed by that part
