From numbers perspective, in 2 games, 11/10.5/2.5 1.5stock/1.5TO shooting 35/25/86. If this is what he averages, he will have hard time getting 2nd contract at all. For dummies, I guess I have to say, "yes it's two games, I'm not saying these two games are indicative of what he'll average this season, blah blah blah"

From eye perspective, he needs to get more assertive and confident. He needs this irrational confidence. A bit of crazy, nasty if you will. A dose of Dillon Brooks

He is a nice complimentary piece, and will be even better when we replace Brooks....with anyone else.

Teams need big, versatile defenders. If his shot becomes dependable, he will make a lot of money.

I don't really buy the "versatility" line
I don't recall Jabari Smith being a good defender on smaller quicker players - the one good sequence I remember him having was against Giannis last year, but more of a power player at this point.

Also tends to get overpowered by bigger players.

Maybe someone's going to hand him a bag of cash anyway - I hope it's not Houston unless there's some big improvement.

    Dude is beyond trash.

He shouldn't be starting at all.

He is so bad. Low feel, terrible awareness, shots never translated. Only good at running cardio. Only shows up when spanked hard, and then fades into anonymity right after. Who knows which press conference he shows up in next year and publicizes his personal trauma of battling confidence issue.

Like I said since his first Summer League action rookie year, poor man version of LaMarcus Aldridge

Mentally weak player who can't handle end of game situations yet our head coach lets him play end of game situations every time. Ridiculous and will continue to cost us games.

Jabari really missed a wide open 3 in transition and then got the rebound. Instead of finding Jalen and resetting, he took the middy…and barely hit the rim. Trash.

So homeless that he is nothing like LaMarcus Aldrige, he is taller than LaMarcus.

Stop comparing him to 1st and 2nd option. His comps need to be poor man versions of role players

I don’t mind the middy because he was open for that shot as well. Two wide open shots he missed. He was suppose to be a shooter so that’s what’s disappointing.

You guys are crazy. He was wide open. Would have been a hero if he'd just made the shot.
