Fascists have been part of the American government for decades. Nixon had dudes like G Gordon Liddy on his team. Fascists being in the US government doesn't mean the US turns to Nazi Germany immediately where every minority groups is in death camps. That process takes decades. The US has a far more robust checks and balance system than Weimar Germany which was a rather new democracy with weak institutions that just transfered from a monarchy system which means fascist actors within the US government are suppressed more where their impact is less. But no is going to ease off calling Trump a fascist because people like him and Stephen Miller fail at realizing their entire agenda.
Maybe Rupert had a word to her that day? He's extremely bitter over Wendy. Even more so now she's swanning about with boy toys.
Was this the Dems' big October surprise? It fizzled after 1 day of breathless reporting by the mainstream government-controlled media. Meanwhile, there are now four corroborating witnesses that Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris Emhoff's husband, slapped his girlfriend in the face. GOOD DAY
As a matter of fact I had relatives who were denied routine visas in 2017 coming from Hong Kong to visit the US. These were elderly people who had lived in the US and no threat to the country but somehow ended up on watchlist with no explanation. We were able to get them in eventually but had to go through a lot of rigamorale with the state department.
And you can connect that delay to Donald Trump somehow? Couldn't it have been any number of things not connected to Donald Trump? Even it was Donald Trumps direct doing.. A delay in someone getting a visa? That's the gripe? That was the great burden placed upon you by the fascist Trump administration … ok.
Why do so many Republicans that worked in the Trump White House have such a low opinion of his character? Why are so many of them warning the public about his autocratic tendencies and leanings? We aren’t talking about low-level staffers. It’s his former VP, chief of staff, defense secretary, national security advisor, attorney general. Hell, even the Repubiican Senate leader. I really don’t see how this isn’t a huge red flag for the voting public. The signs that this is a dangerous person to be given the most powerful office on Earth are there in blaring neon, blinking lights. The ability of people to just ignore this and hand-wave it away is baffling to me.
Trump was the president and as candidate had promised to crack down on immigration. My family’s story isn’t alone either as there were many cases of people ending up in all sorts of watchlists for unexplained reasons and being denied entry to this country. My family had the resources and connections to address this many families suffered worse in such as separating parents from children. This wasn’t even only the stuff happening at the border but people coming through what had been legal channels.
A lot of it is denial and confirmation bias. We see it here where many defenders of Trump claim it’s not true even though John Kelly and others are on record saying so. We see it in claims that “it’s not so bad”. I suspect none of them have had to deal with an elderly relative suddenly being considered a threat to national security.
"Trump hired deep state people accidently" is the excuse which also contradicts Trump's other claims of "hiring the best" but I never expected logical consistency from his supporters.
A lot of it is luck based on geography, economic conditions etc. That luck starts running out when a large segment of a nation defends major national level politicians saying stuff like migrants are "poisoning the blood of our country".
It's not only the fascism, he's old. He is reminding me of the my mother started getting agitated dementia medicine commercials
People have had poor experiences with the federal government and its bureaucracy under every administration. You cannot even directly tie your families experience to Trump. All you say is "Well Trump was President" - Like, ok. That's not proof. We had all this Nazi/Hitler/Dictator/last election ever talk in 2016 and the actual resulting injustice was, in your opinion, an undue delay in someone getting a visa... which they eventually got? That's the Hitlerite end state? No gulags, no secret police state, no suspension of the right to petition the government or protest, no suspension of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of association, no suspension of elections etc etc... All you got is well I had some relatives who were placed on a watch list and there was an undue delay in getting them a visa - which I think is Trumps fault somehow. lol - lmao even. Talk about drama-queen hysterics.
Was Hitler a fascist before the Munich Beer Hall Putsch? Keep in mind this is well after he authored Mein Kampf.
More drama queen libtards are calling Trump a fascist. Ex-Trump aides emerge to back Kelly’s harsh warnings More than a dozen former Trump administration officials on Friday came out in support of former chief of staff John Kelly, who went on the record this week to say the former president fits the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator and has no concept of the Constitution.
