    "We never talk about it much in the locker rooms, but quitely, the team knows that this season, we are going on a championship run. It is going to be historic, because of course, it marks 30 years since our last championship. So be ready, folks.I am going to play my role as the veteran I am and put these guys in the right positions to win. It all begins tonight as we face off against the Hornets. Shoutout to Stephen Silas, he had some history with that organization. But I digress. Let's go Rockets."

    A lot hinges on Jalen's jumper. If he hits 37-38% on 5-6 attempts we could compete for homecourt. We'd have an elite defense and potent offense.

    However I don't think we're ready to win multiple playoff series. I'm glad the players have high expectations. Sengun mentioned championship aspirations too. I guess Udoka is teaching them championship vs winning basketball now.

    I love Tate. He's someone who works his ass off every second he is on the court and gets by on effort in the absence of raw talent. I think the kids respect him, Freddy, Unc, and Adams for sure, so the expectation in the locker room (even if I think we're still a ways away from a title) should absolutely be sky high.

    This team has done a lot of talking, but action speaks louder than words. We will be lucky to be an 8th seed.
