I know he's still super young, and big men typically take longer to acclimate to the NBA.

But dude has no baseline level skill he can use as a stepping stone to become elite.

He should be shouting Jalen lobster every single night because if it wasn't for Jalen being picked #2, Jabari would have caught so much flack last season (and looking like this season too).

Take care of the ball and make free throws.

Rockets had all that summer. Everyone got new tattoos and muscles, great draft, preseason was a breeze, new practice facility, big new bags for the budding stars….

They came out and played like a team that needed the reminder. They didn’t adjust to the counterpunch. Fred looked like it was past his bedtime. Alpe had stone hands and tried to go sauce when all we needed was a bucket. Jalen settled too much.

Talk is cheap. Just look at clutch fans for proof.

I don't need to see Sengun dribbling up top.
I don't need Green launching 15 threes like he is Eric Gordon at the 3pt contest. What's fukin funny!!??

Felt like they got extra physical with Alpi no help from the refs would have been nice to have Aquaman retaliate with some accidental elbows.

I wonder if Ime is our Darvin Ham. His biggest asset is getting guys to play hard. Ok, what about the actual coaching?

Was 1-5 from 2 at one point and had a 3 wiped away because of a foul away from the ball that woulda made him 37.5 from 3.

We lost because we went away from sengun, what was winning us the game. Jabari being ass, whats new. Fred and the rest of the guys being cold.

I hate when people say it’s only one game. The Rockets just barely missed the play-in last year because of bad losses like this.

Jalen does settle too much. He needs to attack the basket more but also be more patient.

Ime said we just need to keep focusing on the defense and hustling and doing what we do best basically. Ie. the dumb mother****er doesn't think there's anything wrong with an offense so weak that most streetball games have more creative actions and plays being run. By people who've never met each other before. On the fly, without any practise. Embarrassing.

This loss is 100% on Ime, they adjusted and put a bigger bulkier guy on Sengun and crowded the paint, our guys went all STUPID chucking up 3 after three and missing instead of inverting the offense and working off Sengun at the High post as a passer.

    It was a coaching BLUNDER.

Then Ime panics after they came back in the 3rd and brings the starters in at the start of the 4th after they were the ones that lost the lead in the first place.

We now have the talent on the floor but do we have it on the bench?

    TBD.

    We still lack an identity.

I'll take 'things Coach Udoka says out of a timeout when leading by 18, for $200'.

Coach basically said that he is fine taking open shots as long as that’s what is being given, but he forgets one thing that all of our shooters are pathetic. He should be creating Playsets To get ball down low against the small lineup rather than picking and roll and jacking up shots. Fred Vanvleet is not a good player attacking the rim.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but I’m not convinced about the talent on the floor

    Again Sengun/Green dho.

We did it two times the entire game and it was during clutch time and had 100% effectiveness.

That needs to be the baseline offense and expand from that.

Yeah I hate this mentality. If the shots are not falling you do something else, not just keep chucking and hope they fall. Get something easier.

Well I am not sure it all fits yet, and we lack a clear direction on the floor......we need to know whom we are in every possession and where to get our best shot....we don't yet.
