    The fact that the Rockets lost to Grant Williams and the Hornets in the first game of the 2024/2025 season shows that the Rockets are the strongest candidate for the 16th spot in the West this year.

    The goal for the Rockets this year should be another tanking season and ultimately go to the Cooper Flagg no matter what.

    I don't even know what's happening to our pick:

    "OKC has the right to swap its 2025 1st round pick for HOU's 2025 1st round pick protected for selections 1-10 or the LAC' 2025 1st round pick; HOU then has the right to swap its pick or the OKC pick to BKN for PHX's 2025 1st round pick; if the HOU pick falls within its protected range, then HOU's obligation to OKC will be extinguished and HOU will instead have the right to swap its pick to BKN for the PHX pick [LAC-OKC, 7/10/2019; HOU-OKC, 7/16/2019; BKN-CLE-HOU-IND, 1/16/2021; BKN-IND-MIL-PHX, 2/9/2023; BKN-HOU, 6/26/2024]"

    Yeah this is suppose to be an incredibly top-heavy draft. Supposedly even if the Rockets get a pick in the 6-10 range, they'd still be looking at Reed Sheppard level of prospect.

    In for the tank but that's my emotions on this game's letdown. Sengun has it in him. Reed probably does. Amen needs to shoot better but he has it too. Not sure on any of the others tbh. Jalen and Jabari started off year 3 throwing up bricks like come on breh

    Cooper Flagg is the real deal. I would trade all the PHX picks and a couple of our guys (except Sengun and Amen) for him.

    if we do a consolidation trade I'd rather do it for Flagg than any other current superstar.
