People that talk about Trump supporters are usually racists and classists

Monica's life was never in jeopardy and she's still alive. I don't see how you can say anyone (let alone Hillary) was willing to dance on her grave.

And while she defended her husband (who initially lied to her about the affair), she never called Monica a liar on TV. She instead said he was the victim of a right-wing attack, which was actually true (remember, Monica did not volunteer her testimony or evidence - her conversations were recorded without consent by Linda Tripp and used by Kenneth Starr to expand what was originally supposed to be an investigation of Whitewater).

So basically everything you said here is BS. Everything. No wonder you think the right wing is the victim - you have a warped view of what's actually happened in political discourse over the last few decades.

 

Hillary Clinton supported the Iraq war. Hillary Clinton show a lack of empathy towards people like Palestinians. She is a horrible human. To be frank most people who accumulate that much clout and political power are usually horrible humans. You only get to those positions of clout through seeking it and the type of people who seek it are usually shitty people.


But you know what Hillary won't do? Directly use her pulpit to spread hate rhetoric about ethnicities, races etc. She isn't going to spread fake stories about Hatians in America stealing pets and eating them, the level of hate rhetoric that can radicalize someone to I don't know....

And that is why there is a difference between the Democrat and Republican party. It really is the only relevant and important distinction between the two parties. Democrats can and are willing to throw minority groups under the bus when it is convenient. But they never will spam hate rhetoric about them as a centerpiece of how to attract voters.

In her interview with Matt Lauer Hillary Clinton affirmatively asserts the accusations about an affair are part of a "vast" GOP conspiracy. She peddled conspiracy theories and lies on national television concerning the affair.

Where, exactly, does that leave Monica Lewinsky?

She affirmatively stated the accusations regarding the affair would, "Not be proven true ... and when we look at all the people involved here, look at their motivations, look at their backgrounds, look at their past behavior, some folks are going to have a lot to answer for.... "

 

hillary actually went after lewinsky personally and publicly. called her a "narcissistic loony-tune" amongst other things...and this was after she learned the truth of the affair.

Trump supporters represent the entitled portion of America that doesn't actually want to compete or do the hard work which is why they are so big on nostalgia and traditions.

I brought it Hillary as his counter to the idea that the right wing has been the primary victim of poisonous media. The attacks Hillary has endured (many of which are completely fabricated - such as the rumor she was behind Vince Foster's suicide) are grossly disproportional to her flaws as a politician/public figure.

And as a note, the narcissistic loony tune comment was made in private to a friend, not publicly. Sure, it's still a nasty statement and she probably should apologize for it. But it wasn't a public attack, and from what I've been able to find, Hillary focused on the right wing attacks on Bill (on which she was 100% correct).

 

So in short, she didn't call her a liar.

My fault - I made a comparison of right wing vs left wing attacks and used Hillary as an example. HTM, being the loony-tune that he is, instantly experienced a Hillary Derangement episode.

 

Yeah I mean at the end of the day in 2024 nobody is fooled. It's not about this policy or that, and it's not always about race. I wouldn't even say it's about nostalgia because all of these people remember the bad times along with anything good they recall too.

It's a choice.

It's a choice to say that "I AM DONE with this whole American Democracy thing." I'm opting for Trump because he makes me FEEL a certain way, and I like that. It's empowering to me to put the entire government behind one strongman corrupt autocrat who just makes me FEEL better. Screw the hard work of a Democracy getting things done through policy. My vote today for Trump is a vote to say "fck America.... this isn't working. Let's try the whole dictator thing, and at the very least this strongman will make me FEEL better about myself."

It's a choice, and it's a simple one. Do you want to take the red pill and live in a fantasy, or do you want to take the blue bill and deal with reality in a way that actually tries to make the world a better place??

Trump supporters are not racists necessarily although all racists are Trump supporters. But all Trump supporters are willing participants in ending the American experiment just so they can FEEL a certain way.

Pretty sad story honestly, and I don't feel angry at them anymore. It's pity at this point. I just wish their pity didn't negatively affect my future the way it does which is where the frustration sets in.
