Yeah, sure. I'll put a small bet on Jalen. The potential is there, but potential is a heavy weight to carry. If it hits, you've bought Microsoft in 1986.

    Are you new?

EVERY account created after 2000 is merely one of my sock puppet accounts.

I’m cautiously optimistic. I think he’s going to have a good year, I just don’t know if I wanna sign him to max money.

to his credit, I thought he played very well in the preseason. He looks stronger, more controlled, and the three-point percentages were better. It looked like he was trying to focus on upping his shot quality from behind the ark I saw more catching shoots, and I thought that the shooting form looked very good. It seemed very consistent.

Since my account is from 2002, does that mean right now, I, Bobbythegreat am talking to myself?

Apple's or Microsoft's story sounded more like Steph's story.

Dude wasn't that respected coming out of Davidson. Went on to revolutionize shooting and moving off ball.

Jalen is more like Prince of Zamunda - Eddie Murphy born with a golden spoon but set out to conquer America and meet his dream partner....doing work at a fast food restaurant.

Best we’ve seen him look since his Sophomore preseason when he was averaging 30ppg+ per36.

Simple as this: If the jump-shot improves, so does Jalen Green and the Houston Rockets.

I literally played back nearly all the games in the second half of the season, watching him on every possession. But you do you.

For the last 25 games last season, Green averaged 24.1 ppg / 45.1 FG% / 37.2 3P%. Based on his preseason performances, I think those numbers are replicable. He may even be able to do better. I'm buying.

I've been a hard sell for two years now. He looks different this preseason. There's more flow to his game. Changing speeds and whatnot. I'm moving towards buy. Until we can package him for Devon Booker then sell baby sell.

Never been a big fan of Devon Booker...I am not judging him on the basketball court; he has all the talent in the world but I am not sure if he is the best fit for this team.

On the other hand, JG has been part of this team from the beginning and he is showing growth in his understanding of the game. As much as I dont like some of his fandom here, I would not trade Jalen, if he consistently produces in offense and gets better in personal and team defense. This team needs to grow organically and together and Jalen is a big part of it.

What is it about Booker that you don't like? I understand the desire to keep Jalen, as one of our own. But what is it about Booker that rubs you the wrong way and makes you think he wouldn't work? I'm not looking to argue. Just interested in your reasoning so I might be swayed.

It is hard to explain. He is definitely a star player, no doubt...We have an extremely young team. They need experienced mentors at this point, not star players, yet. Not until we can see one or two or better, three can become star players. I am not sure Booker can be a mentor. FVV is a big dog! He has shown humility in and off the court; he mentors the entire team. Stevens just came on board and he is showing why he will be an important part of this team moving forward, hopefully beyond this season. Like I said Booker is a star player...not sure, though, if I would go to war with him! Sorry I am not able to give you concrete reasoning...mine is just a feeling of an old army dog!
