I'm sure they've adjusted protection, routes, etc. but all of that falls back on Slowick. Everything you've said.

I'm watching KC/SF now and I'm sure Andy Reid has seen every defense imaginable, he's not going to leave it up to his QB, who happens to be the best in the league, to make the adjustments, HE IS.

CJ is only doing what the OC and the offense will allow.

If they weren't playing KC I'd be rooting for Purdy to suffer a game-ending sprain in his throwing pinky finger today in retribution.

I am not convinced that the better team won today; however, if the Texans really are the better team they didn't play like it. When your pass protection is non existent what adjustments do you make? When you can't run or pass what do you do? Time management was awful at the end. We obviously have offensive line issues. The Texans have ALWAYS had offensive line issues. They are either injured or semi functional. The defense was solid. The coaching was suspect. Somehow though the score was close, it felt like a beat down. Strange.

He was a big part of the Mixon big plays to the left…. And was a big part of the mistakes when they brought extra men on that side.

Green Bay defensive coaches schemed well. Texans had a counter with some of the runs, but GB adjusted to that somewhat at halftime. And by the end of the game, there wasn’t enough time to keep running every down (although it was still effective even in that last drive).

If the ZBS is here to stay then Scruggs and Fisher are the only guys on the roster you retain. You have to revamp the entire line or go back to power gap stuff. It’s a disaster to have them all regress like this. OLine coach needs to be fired.

Ehh, just the 2010-2012 era line in general, which was a very good line even though Schaub made them look shitty sometimes

“I was walking to the locker room at the beginning of the game and I heard somebody chirping,” Diggs said when asked what started the altercation. “I’m never the bigger person.”

“I ain’t letting s--- go,” Diggs said. “I don’t (care) if I’m by myself or with a million people… . I ain’t with the football tough guy (stuff).”

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said he didn’t witness the incident but heard about it. He had a different perspective.”

“Those guys have a history, they’ve been going at it before,” Ryans said. “We don’t want to encourage that. We just want to go out and play ball the right way and make sure it’s settled on the field. We can’t be about chirping and all the extra stuff, we’ve just got to be about executing when the ball is snapped.”

Diggs was held to just five catches for 23 yards in Sunday’s loss.

For one, this is now the 2nd time in 3 weeks where Slowik passes in an OBVIOUS run situation on 3rd down. Why would you not force GB to burn their last TO instead of letting them keep it for their last drive?? And then, when they are driving, why wouldn't you take your TOs once they get the 1st first down and they're near midfield?? At that point, you want to do everything to ensure that you're going to get the ball back with at least a little time left for a miracle. Letting them use the whole field and run the clock out was the worst possible thing to do, and this coaching staff has shown they don't know how to manage the clock correctly in those situations.

He's playing plenty bad without a sprain, looks like. They are just not a very good team this year, especially without Greenlaw and CMC.

Texans will be fine. They will only lose 4 more games this season.

The biggest difference with them is coaching and players don't make mistakes.

Oh yeah Slowik is not blameless. Attention to detail is lacking, he’s a madden play caller, and there’s way more of a focus of getting the exact play call to his liking and being super cute than execution. That’s on him.

Two things can be true though.

Green Bay is not that good, the Texans should have won this game, a disciplined approach to clock management and they win this....and throw the ****ing red flag FFS.

And if we did that and GB goes down and scores a FG, which I think is still highly, highly likely barring a turnover, everyone would have been yelling how we settled for the FG and ran 3 straight times, and they would be correct.

Why is everyone acting like there is such a massive difference between 1:50 and 1 timeout and 1:40 and no timeouts when the only thing needed is a FG, hell even a touchdown is very doable in both situations.

Run on first down was fine but after getting stuffed they needed to change the approach.

So many opportunities to put build/extend the lead earlier in the game and time and time again coming up woefully short.

Screens would have been amazing if they could run them
