That punt return had a 0.1% chance of a big gain, a 9.9% chance of disaster, and a 90% chance of nothing. Yikes.
Took Slowik a whole quarter to figure out they can't stop the run...and also running the ball more will slow down their pass rush. I'm not being too hard on the guy just saying, felt like Mixon had 1 carry that whole 1st quarter and we were dropping back way too much for a team that just wants to just pin their ears back and get after the QB.
I did not like that 2pt conversion without the only RB able to run. Then to follow up the failed attempt by putting Mixon back in and trying run when everyone knew it was coming.
Texans defense has been fortunate on many deep passes this season. Receivers are open, they just either drop it or QB overthrows it.
Happy for the lead, but this game appears an L --- +3 turnovers yet only up 5. Texans need to keep running the ball and eating clock. Oline ain't pass protecting anything. Defense mainly just needs to tackle better and defend those deep passes better. Valiant effort so far with all the injuries. God bless the Texans
Just got home. Missed all of the 1st half. I said before the game the only way the Texans could prevail is winning the TO battle and being able to run the ball. Can someone summarize what has happened so far?
