Yankees may finally have enough to overcome the patented Aaron Judge postseason double plays

I don’t even know why I’m still watching.
It’s going to be a Yankees dodgers jerk fest.

Especially with Judge on deck. They walked him to load the bases earlier in this series to face Judge

Shouldn't have pitched to Soto under any circumstances with an open base. If you are, don't throw anything in the zone when you have him in a 1-2 count. He was fighting off everything that he was throwing in the zone. It will be real hard for Rocchio to live down those multiple game killing errors. Makes me appreciate the Astros stellar defense in the '22 post-season even more.

And all the pitches were off speed and I believe the last pitch was a finally a fast ball and Soto kills it.

Yea you'd think they know to not throw high fastballs to him by now.

It’s actually one of his weaker zones (over a large sample size), believe it or not…. But he’s special. Spoiled off a ton, and didn’t miss that one.

Guardians didn't do squat at the deadline and not going to do much when Jose Ramirez and Steven Kwan are your best players, Great players but not elite. Yankees truly had a cake walk to the World Series.

Honestly I would almost suspect him of missing a few on purpose to bait them into throwing them in situations like that

Much like the Astros… who would have made a difference for them?

Their bullpen was a strength all year, and was a liability in this series. Short series baseball is a different beast, but when you lose largely due to your strength over 162… it is what it is.

Well Soto's asking price just took the Yankees out of the Bregman market.
