Yeah according to this we should trade Jalen and Sengun and run with Adams and Van Vleet for our future lol I hate stats sometimes.

 

Rockets don't play any real contenders in the next 15-20 games

 

Well if we look at it this way ....what is it around 2-3 teams each conference with real contenders? Maybe 4 max?

Or are you talking about playoff teams? Because you could say 16 have a chance with % varying from each team/seed

So they aren't playing any real contenders much out of 82 games, but this may be a season where they make a jump to dark horse threat, and its good the NBA is doing them a solid with early schedule of non-contenders

Come out 15-5 or better with that early schedule

 

GSW massacred Lakers by 60 ..... if only that was Regular Season.

 

Serious question: Have the Sengunatics chilled out enough that it's worthwhile viewing the Sengun threads? I've completely avoided them since early last season. The over-the-top worship was just too much for me. I have noticed they no longer flip out in other threads when other players get praised.

 

Funny how one stat says one thing and one stat says a totally different thing. These "advanced" stats are used incorrectly sometimes to support people's biased viewpoints. RAT presents a clearer picture of how they played. The other one is basic and limited like +/-. It favors the guys who didnt play the OKC game.

They have a pragmatic view of Sengun for the most part. If you think he's going to top out as a Top 20 player for example they don't flip out and call you a Alper-hater.

The Rockets were playing most starters in most of the games while most of the contenders and playoff teams did not.

This Global Ranking is only because they put every player next to a Flag and their Home Country......

 

I don't play those games at all.

I also did not say the stats were wrong ....should put more context to it.

Outside of the Rockets games, teams were not playing starters regularly, satisfied?

Basically opponent teams were skipping the 3rd or 4th Quarter and we know most games are decided in the 2nd Half with few exceptions when teams blow you out in the 1st Half and the lead cannot be erased.

 

We looked sharp, if we keep it up, we have a very solid 6-8th seed team.

 

So…how about them Rockets?!

At least basketball season starts Wednesday.
