I'm still a seller. Just a happier seller every time I see him put on a performance that increases his trade value. But I'll say this: Having b****ed about his defense last year, it sure looks to me like he's putting in more effort there. Somebody has gotten through to him that it matters. Don't know whether he's doing it to get minutes or a good contract or just because he's taking the coaching seriously. But I'm happy to see it. And it's the #1 thing that could convert me from seller to buyer.
It looks like he isn't thinking anymore and more so trusting everything that's got him to this point. Same can be said about Amen and Sengen just playing ball... these guys are match-up nightmares for teams/aging stars with no depth. There's something about the way they are moving the ball... it's special.
Come on - assuming I have a $100 that I’m willing to part with I’m definitely buying $15 - 20 dollars worth. At this point it’s a cheap stock with a potentially high upside, what’s not to like? Most of my portfolio would be Sengun followed by Amen tho.
There are people that can eat anything but won't get fat......not saying Green is like that but it exists. It is a curse but in actuality you are also not dealing with much overweight.
If he can hit his 3s he’s a max player and the Rockets are in the playoffs. If he can’t then he will likely be traded. To me it’s that simple. Your SG needs to hit his 3s. Let’s see how this season goes. If he wants to be a star and get max money then we need to see consistency on his 3.
Neither Jokic or Doncic are fat. They aren’t as athletic as some of their peers, but are in better shape than 99% of Americans or Europeans for that matter, probably even greater than 99%.
They are "fat" by NBA standard. I was obviously joking. You can't play 35+ minutes in an NBA game 3 times a week without being in top shape. Even a guy like Brian Scalabrine can mop the floor with 99% of the population in basketball.
Jokic and Doncic also what i call "country boy farmer" strength. Not particularly defined with muscle but are well above average in strength in the NBA.
You must didn't pay attention to him alot last year because his defense and rebounding was quiet good. His offense was spotty
yep, defo. this stock went from overhyped to undervalued at the moment. This is not a stupid guy, he knows that he needs to get his bag and will do everything to get to that contract. I’d sell after he signs, as the risk is high he’d check out, a la Ayton and J. Poole… I would not be buying Shepard stock now. Shepard is more of a long-term hold, his stock will get cheaper, and then would be a buy. Good prospect, but small guys usually take quite a bit of time to adjust to NBA size. The Sheppard hype will simmer down once the season starts, I think…
