I posted a link that the claims that he had been walking in on pageants contests first surfaced in 1997.

Since didn't even make FauxNews, OAN, or Newsmax...I guess we can say this was an AI-generated fake.

This is another sign of the danger of AI and how I don’t think we are ready for the implications of AI

I don't think I've ever seen a MAGA fanatic come back on here and say look I was wrong, my bad. They never admit any wrongdoing just like their cult leader.

Sorry, didn't read the whole thread - is there proof that Tampon Tim has not molested any young boys?

Is there proof that Donald Trump doesn't get ****ed in the ass by Kamala Harris with a strap-on while listening to Ava Maria and drinking a diet coke?

I did have an assistant in my office come to me and complain that someone had taken a sticker of Tim Walz and stuck it on the tampon dispenser in the ladies restroom. She begged me to go in and look, and sure enough there was a sticker of Tim Walz head and it said in a bubble "Hi! I'm Tim".... It took everything in my power to not laugh and I agreed to have it removed because it bothered her....

I imagine like Vance, he feels like he brought an important issue to light and that we, just like sex assault victims everywhere, should thank him.

I’m just pleased to be in the same sentence as Nook. Not sure it is deserved though.

I’m just here to fix grammar and kick around el conquistador.

lol, you do a better disappearing act than @astros123

This folks is why the GOP wants to dismantle public education, or is this just a sign of a complete lack of it?

It's not really grammar. It's just that it is a single organizational entity that has given itself a name that's plural, and somehow, it was determined that one would treat it as a singular entity.

As opposed to the Houston Rockets. Also a singular entity with a plural name, but we say the Houston Rockets are the greatest team on earth.

It's not a matter of grammar, just of convention (in American English - Brits more often than Americans say "the UN are" - but glad you think you scored a point).

"While it wouldn’t be grammatically incorrect to say “The United Nations are antisemitic,” it’s less common, especially in American English, where organizations like the United Nations are usually treated as singular entities. Most Americans would say, “The United Nations is antisemitic,” using the singular verb.

However, in British English, it’s more common to treat collective nouns as plural, so “The United Nations are antisemitic” could be acceptable in that context. The choice of singular or plural often reflects whether you’re emphasizing the organization as a whole (singular) or its members or component parts (plural).

In short, it’s more a matter of convention than strict correctness, and in this case, “is” would be more typical, especially in American English."
