It's always aesthetics over what's best for the on field performance. Same reason why no one besides a few players wear those Guardian helmets even though they help with concussions. They look goofy so they aren't popular.
Another issue with guardian caps in the NFL is they are new. More players will overlook the aesthetic issue as the years go by (and the NFL will likely improve the look).
Injuries occur to players on every team in the NFL, BUT, doesn't it seem that injuries are a tad bit more common on the Texans? Should the conditioning program be looked at?
I thought the white glove comment was because the Pack are wearing white jerseys so if the OL is holding you have a white glove on white jersey to kind of hide it
I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago, but I've been wondering if the NFL (since they are incredibly nit-picky about what the players wear) has a rule against it.
The only injury that really chaps my ass is Azeez. I kind of figured Henry T needed to take extra time away since this is his second concussion in less than a year. That's not good, and that needs to be heavily monitored. I was really hoping AAS was going to go though since he wanted to come back in last week, and they held him out just to be safe since it was a blowout. Hopefully they're just giving his knee as much time as it needs before Sunday, and he's good to suit up. Not having him, Henry T, AND Christian Harris against Love and Jacobs would really, really suck.
Unless the pass rush goes full nuclear, I think Love is gonna carve up the defense and lay over 30 points because their receiver group is so good. I'm OK with it because if the Texans are going to have a game where injuries chop them down, I'd choose this one. Assuming they are 5-2 after Sunday, going 6-1 the next 7 games is quite achievable, with the Lions game being the most difficult.
