I don’t think it’s about changing a lot of minds. It is showing to the electorate that she is not taking the race for granted and also willing to govern across the political spectrum. Also with a race this close a marginal difference could matter. If she reaches only a few thousand votes in the swing states could tip things.

It’s pure panic and desperation mode now. The strategy of avoiding interviews didn’t work and now they’re trying last minute moves. People told me back in August that avoiding interviews was smart, but it looks like it wasn’t. She’s stuck now. If she doesn’t speak, she looks bad, but when she does, people like her even less.
I think you have your candidates mixed up. Trump does interviews and people like him less. As for the polls, I think we will see the polling is way off this cycle.
