Jesus Christ man, I truly feel bad for you. How much time do you spend in the right-wing propaganda hate-sphere a day?

And thank you for not responding with some easily disprovable, nonsense headlined, click bait article or graphic. I'm sure it must've pained you.

    I'll consider myself blessed.

I'd do FoxNews interviews in the daytime if I could. That's when I know the target audience for Harris/Walz is available to see it. Fox daytime hits non-active voters who are busy and don't consume political news. FoxNews daytime is always on everywhere I go such as doctors offices, the gym, and restaurants during lunch.

The unfortunate handicap here though that favors Trump is the ticker at the bottom on the screen. While most of the hosts during the day are pretty fair, FoxNews has a knack for putting a very unfavorable tagline on the ticker that says what the people on the screen are talking about in the most anti-Democratic way possible. Even if the conversation is substantive and would favor the Democratic position if you actually listened to it.

So FoxNews daytime... kind of important to reach those voters. Especially Latino hard workers who I know do have FoxNews on either in the background, or are exposed to it in the daytime. The Mexican food restaurant I go to lunch at on Fridays ALWAYS has it on as an example. My wife says the nail salon she goes to ALWAYS has it on. etc. etc.

FoxNews after 5PM though... ugh... there's no point of fcking around with that audience.

We know what a coup is when we see one. It’s you that were told to go along with the machine and just too dense to figure it out.

Not media. Look at the evidence and testimony from people that were there. I have suggested to do that and not go by what the media says.

I never go by any lame ass media right or left. What I saw was a coup done to Biden by the machine. Now that Kameltoe and Tampon Tim are screwing up so badly, the fingers pointing by the Dems are in full swing. Had you guys have a real convention and nominating better candidates, we wouldn’t be talking about a coup.

By all means, if you think it's a winning strategy, please continue whining about the nomination process.

Edit: Nevermind, please keep whining. Focus on this exclusively now until election day. I beg you.

The fact is despite the nitpicking, and I'm sure Monday morning quarterbacking.... Kamala has ran a damn good campaign. Still time to do better or worse in the close, but the fact is the campaign is what it is at this point, and 99.5% of people have already decided.

The truth is if Trump wins it's because it's just where the country is. Meaning Americans are actively choosing ignorance, and raising the white flag in terms of self determination & democracy. It's a choice to say "I don't really want all of this responsibility anymore, and civic duty. I'm opting for going with the strongman messiah who just tells me that everything is great, and I really don't have to have to think about Democracy anymore. I can live a fantasy, and go about my daily life.

That's just the reality of where America might very well be folks, and it's sad more than anything. Let's not overthink this. It's a choice and all signs are that it's likely enough Americans will vote this election cycle to take a very very long break from Democracy. The whole "well we survived Trump once, and things were okay after" folks know that's not true, but they think it's a talking point that'll convince the person talking to them that they are rational people who thought this though.... which they did and THEY MADE THE CHOICE.

I would argue there is good evidence here that we actually didn't survive January 6th. You just don't go back from that, and now moving forward we just cannot call ourselves a true Democracy. Our country is only half Democratic, and the other half is autocratic which means autocratic wins in the end just like cancer in only half of the body will eventually kill it. Maybe not this election cycle. Maybe we keep things status quo another election cycle, but unless the cancer is removed the body of Democracy is going to die if it hasn't already.

Kamala Harris better be ready for Brett Baier - he is a tough interviewer and he will not let her get away avoiding questions...... ask Trump how hard Baier is, he obliterated Trump in the past. I don't think it is smart for Harris to do the Baier interview.

It's a piece to the puzzle, yes. It's no different than the variety of criticisms Dems throw at Trump. You hear much more about the economy, immigration, and Kamala's incompetence over Biden being pushed out. In fact you hear more about Biden campaigning for Trump wearing MAGA gear than you do him being pushed out. Several times recently Biden is competing directly with Kamala and contradicting what she is saying.

I saw Brett Baier at a Costco in Arlington once.

He was doing a book signing. Literally no one approached him. He and his assistant sat there on their phones looking completely miserable for an hour and then left.

I'm guessing whoever his publicist is overestimated the apetite for his celebrity because the market was simply close to DC. Meanwhile this city is 80/20 blue v red, so of course nobody was interested in getting within 15 feet of a Fox News ghoul.

Does whining about it fill you with confidence? Does it make you feel powerful? Do you feel reassured by it?

Good post, I have never been one to call fellow Amercian voters dumb, but how can people not remember what happened with trump and then what happened when he left office. His cabinet and VP won't even endorse him and they had to be with him 24/7............A great example is a lady in my office who is already fickle but she made a statement the other day, I don't know who to vote for, I tune on CNN to get info and they say one thing and then I go to fox and they are saying the opposite. Her only care about this election is the cost of food at HEB and she has to exaggerate on how high everything is. I told her to go to the sites of the candidates and find some non-cable news shows, there is truth out there it's just harder to find and if you cant fit a good statement in a tweet or sound clip she isn't going to read it. They she goes on to say how Harris slept her way to the top and I asked her where did you hear that, she said Facebook.............................People, dont be so friggin lazy, Facebook and X are not the place to get news

I do think some people really only care about one or two things and will vote on that. I try and take a holistic view and TBH there was never a debate in my head about NOT voting for trump, as I have said many times, I would vote for a ham sandwich over trump...............and the way trump is looking these days, you better be ready for JD to step in at any time.......................that might be the plan, trump has maga and they will vote for him over anyone else and then trump gets sick, JD takes over and Pardons trump for anything ;)

It is constant and sometimes even more subtle than counteracting what, say, a democrat is saying onscreen.

I remember when I first pointed this out to my parents in the Obama era. If anything in the world, anywhere, was literally on fire, FOX News (sic) would show footage of that, discussing whatever disaster, (rail yard explosion, blah blah), and just quietly run a ticker about whatever Obama was doing that day, using his name as many times as possible. "Obama set to work on Obama's plan to expand Obamacare to other Obamas." Just working to have his name appear with disaster, even just the juxtaposition. It's genius, really. Sad, destructive to our nation, but genius. And unrelenting.

That Costco, more than most, is a vortex of human misery. I can't imagine wanting to spend any extra time there to meet Brett Baier. That sounds like a scene out of Veep.
