sir, McVeigh has the clutch gene. He hit a buzzer beater to win a championship game in the NBL.

Australian scientists have studied and experimented on him for years to try and replicate his supernatural clutchness.

he had even worse nos than Green what makes you say he is better at cutting to the basket? Green playmakes so he doesnt cut but that doesnt mean he cant cut to the basket.

That game winner is one of the coldest I’ve ever seen and that’s not because he’s a Rocket. It’s because:

    1. Championship game, miss the shot and you lose.
    2. Highly risky with time left
    3. Highly risky because he’s surrounded
    4. Takes it from way too far out to say that’s a shot you will likely make
    5. It’s all net
    6. He takes it in a cold blooded manner
    7. Does the Jon Barry stare as he just calmly walks off

Every time he hits a bomb from deep, the Timothy McVeigh jokes will write themselves.

Extra credit when he blows up against OKC.

There's a 1000 one liners for McVeigh when he hits the shot.

    "He's leveling the competition!"

    "Bombs away!"

"McVeigh's so hot right now he's setting this place on fire!"

    And of course. . . .

    "BOOM!"

I think someone's agent got to the Rockets front office and said don't you dare give my guys minutes to this man or I'll make sure he's gone in free agency. Dude should have got some burn last game.

Maybe not a franchise player, but a strong showing from McVeigh down at RGV (36 minutes, 29 points, 7-14 from 3). He may finally be finding a rhythm. He's undoubtedly an NBA-caliber shooter. He was helping Sheppard collect dimes against the OKC Blue. Physically, though, he needs to be much stronger to stick in the league.
