Look at the Tigers coming back right away. The Astros would’ve curled up and died after that grand slam.
i need the astros to hit 20 grand slams next season because i'm sick and tired of other teams hitting grand slams except for the fuggin astros.
Also and I'm not saying he was one of them but weren't people saying the opposite last year because most of teams with a bye in 2022 are 2023 got eliminated. Astros went 2-0 but if you took out the Astros, the records combined for 2022 and 23 was not favorable for the teams who got a bye. Edit, here are the results ... In 2023, the bye teams lost three of the four Division Series matchups. BAL lost to TEX ATL lost to PHI LAD lost to AZ … but not HOU, which beat MIN In 2022, it was a 50-50 split: the bye team lost two of four matchups. ATL lost to PHI LAD lost to SD … but not HOU, which beat SEA … but not NYY, which beat CLE
Was watching the 5th Kansas v Cleveland game and started to have feeling something was missing. It was the b****ing. Ok, the ump was great and consistent with the zone but young players giving their all with fire and taking responsibility themselves for the outcome. Right away remembered how somebody like Boone screams bloody h*ll for every 50/50 strike for Judge and only gets tossed after doing hour of this usually. I can't find words how much I despise Boone. It's unhealthy . I hope Cleveland gets fair chance from the league and umps. Def. underdogs anyhow especially burning all pitching they have for 5 games. Rooting hard for Mets in NL.
Why are they choosing to “engineer” that matchup this year vs. any of the other umpteen years they had a chance to do it?
