Saw Pat Green tonight in Seabrook. My wife’s cousin’s band opened. Perfect weather.

one of the best bands of the last 30 years. criminally underrated. i have actually had i should coco in my rotation the last couple weeks. pretty impressive that they put that one out when they were still teenagers.

saw them once in austin about 20 years ago at la zona rosa.

I hear the venue is incredible, but I'm afraid it'd give me vertigo.

    nice! Quite the lineup.

mine aren't as cool as aforementioned, but

Kruelty (metal band from Tokyo they're bad*ss) back in January, Lost Dog Street band (they covered Townes van Zandt twas awesome) last month, and the obsessed Friday night.

My nephew and I are going to the Deftones in March and Pantera/Metallica in June at NRG.

So update on this. I did get to see Built to Spill in Asheville. At the River Arts District. About 2-3 weeks before the ENTIRE district FLOODED. Lol. Insane. Bands wont be heading back to Asheville anytime soon I imagine. Awesome show though.

And Dino JR opened for Weezer, so saw them too.

My son's Kindergarten teacher is the cousin of one of the Weezer dudes.

Last night, I listened to two small private concerts, at the same event:

First, Jon Batiste - so talented.

Then, Diana Ross (also featuring her daughter Rhonda). Can't believe that lady is 80 - seems like someone who is at most 60.

Went hard for 16-18 hours a day, came home yesterday and slept for 14 hours. My 32yo DJ friend who was in the festie crew asked me how I was younger than him. Still some gas left in the 1973 model X, my dudes.

Does Gambino still have Auckland on? I had tickets to see him here in HOU and was minutes away from leaving for Toyota Center when I got the news the show was postponed…and then he cancelled Europe dates. Turns out he’s been here in Houston the entire time getting medical attention, but not sure for what specifically. I love that dude so much. Hope you get to see him…and hope he comes back around Houston soon when he’s feeling better.
