I love how western powers and Israel have this habit of pretending that killing off terrorist leaders does anything. How many times has our country done this wack a mole game with killing terrorist organization leaders? There are thousands of homeless Palestinian young men who have lost someone important in their lives in the past year who are primed for easy radicalization and replace whatever current terror organization exists. Only the improvement of material conditions will deradicalize. Otherwise genocide is the only other option.
The only reason Israel can carry out its sweeping attacks throughout Gaza is because of the weapons and defense systems US tax payers have given them. We give Israel the cover and resources to carry out its strikes, whether they result in taking down a major terrorist or wiping out a family looking for refuge in a hospital.
