Yep, the uniform looks good, but the H on the helmet needs to go, and the Bull in that color scheme needs to go on the helmets. They really do look sharp and clean. Just not a fan of the H on the helmet.
While I'll always favor the Battle Red, the H with a minor modification H on a white Helmet. as an alternate and wider contrast outline on the H Jersey as standard Home to increase ease of ID.
This. Would make all the difference in the world. The “H” on the helmet just looks bad and amateur. A simple switch instantly makes these uniforms fire.
How is it glowing? Lol. It’s just outlined in H-Town blue. It already looks awesome and would look sick in a helmet imo. The H looks cheesy as is on the helmet and much of Twitter seems to agree. To each their own of course, but a lot of people seem to feel this way about the alternate helmet.
It looks like it is glowing with that outline and the Red Star. Twitter is **** nowadays. The Uniforms were praised for their looks. They are not changing the H.
They simply tried too hard on this rebrand. Make a deep navy and a Htown blue jersey in the same style as the white jersey and then leave the red and white how they are.
I’m good with this. I’d probably do the same with replacing the H. I didn’t know how I felt about the uni’s until I saw them in the field. I think the main reason I like them is I feel it creates a recognizable identity. If this or a tweaked version was made the primary jersey, I feel like it would be something along the lines of seeing the Steelers or Raiders jerseys/colors. That brand that stands out.
Haven't seen the Battle Red ones yet, but I think I'm ready to move the "home" jersey to my least favorite one even though I love the (original) darker steel blue. The red letters on the name plate along with the white numbers and the sleeve logos make it unnecessarily busy. Road ones look clean on TV, and I'm sure the H-Town ones did too.
The almost black is actually the Original Steel Blue which gradually became lighter. That, along with Liberty White and Red [while Battle Red is the uniform. I don't know if the original Red has a designated name.] have Houston Blue added this season as the 4 Texans specific color names. My preference is to have a base White Helmet as the H alternative so we have a Blue, White and Red Helmet choice.
I agree. I like how they are completely unique in color and easily recognizable. Maybe even a red bull with blue outline on the helmet to go with the red stripes and numbers to replace that H. They are my fav by far. The whites are my least favorites and too much like Atlanta for my liking. Not much originality there. Those little half bulls aren't anything that screams WOW.
The funny thing about all of this is that Amy Stink fought so hard against the baby blue jerseys (The NFL designed this look which had it as a primary color in that jersey) , that the redesign is still very popular and selling well.
I would post the Packers all white unis for Sunday, but this place has a weird way to include attachments. I am too lazy to add an attachment in a goofy way. Never saw a fan forum that didn't have an add attachments button. Anyhow... The unis are all white. It will be the first time in Packers history they will be wearing a white helmet. No white pants in those pics. lol. Will be a little extra juice Sunday. Packers very rarely wear alternates.
