Vague memory that LaRussa was a b**** about it the way Roberts is now a b**** about the Padres and everyone else
I forgot how to post pictures here from my iPad but if I could it would be that pic of the guy at the Astros game pointing to the camera and laughing from the Crawford Boxes
Jake Tower, I assume that is your legal name, and I just want to say you’re awesome. Always with the funny pics and gifs…you make this place way more fun..thanks!
Detroit bullpen 29 IP 6 ER 1 inning short of averaging a whopping 6 innings per game. You're not supposed to win playoff games in this manner. Yet here we are.
5 game series…3 game series…we play 162 games to decide who is best by a 3 game or 5 game series….wild. Reminder that in the 3 game series the Tigers played before they eliminated the ****ing Houston Astros, they lost 2 of 3 to arguably the worst team of all time. This is why I’ll never understand the whole “our team just doesn’t care” bullshit after losing a 3 game series. I’m not telling you how to fan, but if you pull that **** out after a 3 game series then you just don’t know baseball. That’s fine with me, but just know that I know you don’t know.
When did I utter the words "we just don't care"? You're addressing somebody else. I'm just pointing out how unorthodox a path Hinch is navigating through, and quite successfully. It's easy to win a series when you have 3 or 4 very dependable starters (e.g., Astros, Phillies, Royals). To do it in this manner, that's just really incredible.
other teams hit grand slam with ease......... astros can barely score with men on 3rd and 2nd with 0 outs.
Excellent… and we all know. Its reached “village idiot” potential that is comical on some level, with the circumstantial statistics that probably took a good chunk of time to look up and draw the most inexplicably naive and moronic conclusions to.
Its pretty cathartic how I don’t miss this sort of stress on any level… playoff baseball is far more heartache and heartbreak than it is elation.
