I know we don't all agree on much, but can we at least all agree it is "you reap what you sow", not "sew"?[/QUOTE] I took his spelling in his statement. Thanks for the correction. I get confused with that one. I blame Ross Perot.
If the two names of the ballot were Trump and Putin, I can at least quickly say I wouldn't vote for Putin. But also, I still wouldn't vote for Trump. So maybe we aren't so different. Seems like an unethical breach of trust for this person to publicly share Vance's private messages. He should be ashamed of himself. But, it's not really Deloitte's fault. At the same time, I don't care at all what happens to Deloitte's business, so if they get cut off by the feds unfairly -- well, I won't care that much. Depends on how you do it. I criticize the Dems for complicity in genocide in Gaza and no one accuses me of supporting Trump. Attacking Democrats from the left is tolerated. People might argue, but they don't dismiss me as a fifth column. Attacking the Dems from the 'middle' can feel more like a wolf in sheep's clothing. But, it also depends on what particular ideological plank you attack (and maybe also what reputation you started with). To take another personal example, I openly scoff at some of Harris' anti-market proposals (like the price gouging thing) and people argue but again they don't write me off as a Trumper over it. There are probably certain planks on which even a whiff of dissent is going to set off people's alarm bells because it's central to the animus between Dem and MAGA. Though, beyond the interpersonal, I'm surprised at how much of the policy field Democrats have ceded to MAGA. They've adopted pro-gun stances hoping to get just modest regulation in return. They've adopted immigration control stances again hoping to get just a more humane and moderate policy from Republicans. They'll accept tough on crime arguments to avoid the accusation that they'll let criminals take over. They'll moderate on trans issues and accept 'reasonable' abortion regulation. Apparently a good deal of slippage is allowed and you can still call yourself a democrat, and the politicians will follow when it shows up in the polling.
I like how you casually drop a two hour video and tell someone to watch it when you have a chance...lol.
Is long format too much for your attention span? Lol I'm referencing is again at the very beginning in the first 10 minutes. Like literally starts at one minute in after the intros... Attacking Democrats from the left is not tolerated at all and I briefly described that above with how Bernie supporters were treated in 2016. Some fell in line but others like me were left out of the party we grew up following and listening to. But I am so ****ing glad that happened.
I'm not a member of the party who's only purpose here is spreading propaganda in a 280 character format. You were a Bernie bro? lol gtfoh with that bullshit, one would have to be a grade A moron to go from one to the other.
Then a long format video with two former Democrats describing how they felt alienated by the party is posted but now that's too long?
And here's a video of Trump supporters chanting to hang the Republican Vice President. Here's a video of a Republican saying he and his family are being threatened because he didn't agree with Trump's election claims.
Why are you hating on Albert Einstein quotes? Man, you gotta relax. And yeah I was a "Bernie bro". Go find my posts from 2016 showing this. You are a shining example of why the Democrars are losing ground and the exact type of person those two people were talking about in the video I posted.
Go figure. I also voted for Bernie and wouldn't board the Clinton train. But you're alright. Nobody should be literally identifying with a party. We have hundreds of millions of citizens and only 2 major parties, so there's no way they can adequately represent our diversity of views. You can vote for them when they have the more advantageous offering and ditch them when they don't. You don't owe them anything, and neither do they owe anything to you. It's the interpersonal stuff that gets messy -- when a friend finds his advantage one way, and you find your own the other.
Dude I'm good, people like you are annoying as all hell. You see what you wanna see, ask questions you think you know the answers to, and your conspiratorial nature just rubs me the wrong way. I believe you're full of bullshit and just wanna make it crystal clear so that you understand it. Peace out...I'm done with the back and forth.
I've been a Flower Mound resident for 16 years now, and I joined Flower Mound Cares (FMC) probably a couple of years after I moved there. It used to be a great resource for information about the community, but over the past 10 years it's become a cesspool of hate and vitriol. Almost any topic that gets posted winds up becoming a hate-fest, whether it's about politics, about the person/issue posted about, or sometimes even about the OP. That happened to me once when I posted about my Beto sign being stolen. I got SO much vitriol and hate that I wound up trying to delete the post, but the moderator un-did my deletion because he LOVES the drama and clicks. We did that dance back and forth several times over the course of a day before I gave up. I wound up deleting it a day or two later once the attention on my post died down. Anyways, I also follow Hive Bakery on Facebook (and live about 5 minutes down the road from it) and Haley has always been very vocal about her political leanings on her business page. She's always been a favorite of hatred from the FMC crowd. Haley has posted for years about fake negative Google reviews, especially any time she does special cookies/baked goods for social causes she supports, and just about any time she makes posts supporting her social causes, or makes post talking about the hate she receives, someone, usually the FMC mod, creates a post on FMC which draws all of the hate and generates a ton of clicks and replies. I don't even bother opening those posts any more because all they do is turn my stomach. It's such a strange dichotomy, because in my experience the people of Flower Mound, in-person, generally are very kind and respectful. But you get them on FMC and the hate flows through them...unless someone posts something about MAGA, then it's all love.
Not at all, it says that he was targeted because he is spreading violent rhetoric - now which of the rhetoric caused the shooters to try to kill him, I don't know but what you say matters and there are consequences for your actions. It is true, about Hate, but it is not true about both sides being equal, I don't hate republicans, I hate Trump - whereas most MAGAts hate liberals because they are lied to, on Fox, on Newsmax and they honestly don't know how the system works. DD PS. Yes it is reap what you sow - my bad....and Kemah FFS learn how to use the quote system correctly.
Literally just making things up. You probably thought I made the quote up in my signature. I'm glad you're done too breh. Peace
Thank you for your explanation. I do respect your independent thinking. The way I read it was you were ok with him being killed because he is what he is. And regardless of how vile you, me, or anyone else feels he is. That is not a basis for violence against said person.
I wouldn't personally harm a fly, but I wouldn't be surprised that a man that preaches violence comes to a violent end. That seems to be how the world works sometimes. Spoiler I also, would not shed one tear about it DD
