This is a Ray Bradbury book which I didn’t read until about 2019…but Disney made a movie of this story in the early 80’s. It’s not on Disney+ and you can’t find it ANYWHERE other that YouTube in broken poor quality. As a kid, it was super impactful on me. Love wins…but it was a very scary movie to a little kid and it’s dark even still. And then it isn’t, and it’s just amazing. Around this time of the year every year I look for it, but can’t find it in a format that isn’t YouTube crappy. It’s worth watching even on janky ass YouTube…production value isn’t great, but the story….and the book is absolutely worth reading. It’s an incredible story. So good. Ray ****ing Bradbury. One day my kids are gonna read this forum when I’m dead and come across this and maybe they’ll read the book because they read this post go texans
I dont read the Atlantic …I’d need to pay for it, and I dont pay for it…if they did an article please let me know!!!!
Surprisingly dark for a Disney movie. Need them to stop being cowards and put it up on Disney+ so I can show my (now adult) kids. Dammit!!!
Then I’d need to buy a dvd player after you youngsters told me to stream everything while simultaneously buying vinyl to be ironic
It's been talked about here before, but those of us of a certain age grew up with some seriously creepy "children's" movies
only the wheelers were creepy. the rest of the movie was ok. ratboy wasn't disney but was it meant to be a kids films? if it were i'd call that the creepiest one. something wicked was a horror movie for kids.
