I feel like we can have home court advantage in the first round of playoff

Thanks I found a little work around, I got the game up on League pass and then shared my window on my Playback channel, so it was my window that was officially streaming, it just happened to have the Rox vs Jazz on it.

    :)

Amen's ability to remain in the starting line-up is likely contingent on Sengun's ability to at least threaten 3s, so Sengun will need to shoot with them no hesitation. Amen's jumpshot has a long ways to go, so unfortunately that also means Sengun needs to be shooting at least 3-5 3s a game at a 33% clip to really force Cs to leave the paint.

However, the defensive upside is clearly there when Amen is with the starters, and with him and Jalen on the court together any successful defensive possession can quickly convert to very easy transition opportunities.

I expect Amen will find his extra minutes by playing back-up 4 and 5.

Unfortunately for Reed, it might be difficult for him to get minutes behind Jalen, Cam and FVV. Fortunately for him though, he can definitely take minutes away from Aaron Holiday.

Oh yeah there is a chance esp since the West is full of old and fragile players now. OKC is the only team that is young and deep like us, after that anything can happen.

Amen wont start, Brooks will start like you don't know Udoka lol.

Both Whitmore and Reed will be the ones getting squeezed in the rotation, it depends if they play extremely well and the ones in front of them suck.

I def see Eason and Amen getting priority over Whitmore and RS esp if JG continues his shot shooting and elite defense.

Holiday has shot 40% from 3 in Home Games, that is hard to replicate in real games.....but yeah, it can happen over seasons.

I think they all understood that it is game 1 of the preseason, while y’all are busy spiking the football, which is a super weird thing to do.

People are drawing conclusions way too quickly, like x looks improved, better at this or worse at that etc. All I could take away is that Green, Sengun & Amen looked solid like last year. Unfortunately Jabari looks the same as well and I hope that with time he will show more. The thing is that around his draft I think his mindset was to be this lean SF / PF tweener who could use his size as an advantage, but now is basically forced to be bigger, grow some muscle and bang with the big boys. That doesn't change overnight and I'm not sure his body can really handle getting bigger. Sheppard was jittery, Cam is the same ol' good and bad and basically not a lot of changes since last year.

The main positive is that we already have chemistry and that was obvious from the get go. We will have that as a clear advantage over the other young teams. Only Adams and Reed need to be brought along, but Adams while not game ready at least got some rebounds and set good screens tho guys need to be aware of who he is and where they should throw him the ball. Tari's absence is starting to become a real concern here and I really fear it's much worse than they are letting on.

Don't be worried about Tari. They said before the game Ime's resting some of the older guys and the guys coming back from injuries in each game. There's a high chance Fred, Adams and Sengun sit next game and we see Uncle Jeff, Tari, Landale and Brooks instead.

It’s good to have Rockets basketball back. I haven’t felt this excited about the season since the Harden years.

    Amen looks tough as hell.

JG looks comfy. He’s the guy who can explode and get us back into games or bury teams. I really liked how patient he was.

Sengun looks fit. His 3 point shot form looks more efficient / compact.

overall, the pace and defense were amazing. I don’t know if they can maintain that, but if so, damn…

    go rockets!

That no hesitation three from Sengun was my favourite moment of the game. If he maintains that confidence from deep then game over for whoever's guarding him. If they can no longer sag off him they've got no chance.

Sengun's defense looked solid. Past few seasons he had problems guarding agility center like Collins, but last night he held his ground.
Jalen Green improved his jump shots, and he is still a very streaky shooter.
The whole teams still had some turnovers problem, pre-season game was fine hopefully the problem won't be carried over to the regular season.
The whole bench other than Cam were rusty, especially Reed.
Overall, I like the progress. When Dillion returns to the starting lineup, Amen will boost the bench units. Our team will look so much better.

Are the usual suspects having a mental breakdown about Adams being the worst defender in the league?

First couple of involvements in a highlight video I saw, was he failing to stop an alley oop dunk, and then the next was failing to stop a p'n'r he was featured in defensively.

You know, the things which make Alpi the worst defender in the league, just wondering if the same standard is kept for all players?

How about your standards about Jalen? Care for us to bring those up?

Yeah, Adams has not been playing for 1 and half years and his mobility is pretty much gone.....can only give credit for his screen setting.
