Slowiks play calling was maddening at times today. The problem is that he calls plays as if he has a healthy RB1 and a line that is effective at run blocking. Ogunbawale is not a feature back, one series he had touches 3 straight plays. The pitch backs and end arounds that start behind the line of scrimmage simply we're not working and we're negative plays, but he ran them again, and again, and again. He's lucky Buffalos play calling was even dumber than his.
They've played one entire game together this year. I'm not surprised they've been struggling. The ol still hasn't played together very much either.
Slowik has what he has to work with. How often would you propose that they run the ball and what type of running plays would you like to see called? Seems to me that you're a better playcaller than either Brady or Slowik, so I'm really looking forward to your response.
somebody said Dare got more targets than Tank, Diggs and Dalton combined. Slowik is a gotham villain. Slowik part of CJ's Rogues gallery.
I know Jacoby's brother... In 2016 draft, 2 teams showed the most interest in drafting him (according to brother): Pittsburgh and... Htown. Supposedly Houston & Pitt thought he would last until 4th. But Belichick (and BDN!) gonna do what they do...
Glad we won, but i am not very happy that it came to final play again. We should not be in this position. We are better than that. Hope this won't happen again when we had a good lead.
I don’t think you should expect easy wins against teams like Buffalo. They’re a legit contender. EDIT: as of the time I’m posting this there are 12 games that have been played today. Of those 12 games, 8 were decided by a TD or less. That’s the NFL.
Won't know the long-term prognosis for several months. I need to recover fully from the surgery and then get another echocardiogram to check my heart function. The good news is I'm not dead and considering how bad I was when I went to the ER that is a pretty big win.
Alright yeah, nailed it. They just "aren't that good on offense". The results are acceptable. That excuse bullshit doesn't go very far with me. There are teams all over the league figuring it out with injuries, and those teams don't have CJ Stroud and the group of receiving weapons we have. Also, plenty of teams figure out how to run the ball without their starting running back. Guys get brought in off the waiver wire and can make plays. There's more than one reason, but they've underperformed in the second half, and it needs to get better. I'm very happy to be 4-1.
Forgotten man, Tunsil. We didn't say his name once. Congrats on a day with no penalties and key block for the Akers TD. Here is the Stroud INT. A little surprise he didn't throw that one with anticipation. It all looked in slow motion live .
