My f-ing neighbor has a big ass backyard and they have a big tree in the corner of their lot with a shed next to it. This tree is overgrown with branches growing everywhere over the corner of their property and overhanging their shed. They just had the tree trimmers out and...somehow...they didn't find it necessary to have them trim this tree...only the ones closer to their house in the mid areas of their backyard I guess that they have to view. Meanwhile, I have to go out in my backyard and see this overgrown, disproportionate monstrosity in the back of their yard that they have never trimmed in all my years living here. I just don't get how they can ignore a tree on their property like that. I'm so livid that I'm hesitant to call them on it because I am mad as hell. We don't have a HOA so not sure what I can do about it. I guess I'm going to write them a letter. They are not an adjacent neighbor but they have a huge backyard that borders several neighbors' backyards. Somehow, they think it is acceptable that I have to look at this every day and, since it is so far from their house in the very back of their huge ass backyard, they don't have to bother with it at all. I AM SO F-ING LIVID! MF-ERS!

If it's a shared fence, you and your neighbor are in charge of how it looks.

    That's a good looking fence

I really like the part where it's open at the end

On the topic of annoying fence issues, behind me is an open area with a pond about 30 yards from my wrought iron fence. The HOA almost never edges, and I end up with weeds growing against the outside of the fence but clearly visible. I don't have a gate to access that side (considering adding one) so I have to either live with it or edge small parts at a time through the grates backwards.

Also, and this doesn't really annoy me but rather amuses me, my next door neighbor has had an entire panel of the fence on the other side of his yard down for at LEAST 4 months. It's definitely my neighbor's responsibility to at least reattach it since the back, supporting braces face his yard. But they have just left it...the other guy mows around it, and they just have this panel with grass trying to grow out, around and through it. Then again, I've had panels loose and basically being used as doggy door for rabbits for like a year. So who am I to judge...

    Restaurants, trailers, whatever

They do not have an online menu. This is ok. They send you to Facebook or whatever and most of them have no menu at all, the other half, well, there's shitty pictures of their physical menu

Waking up early and having no internet… looks like I’m gonna have to do outdoor things today.

It's a good thing to do when you can, or have to.

    HEB "coupons"

They are never "save $2 if you buy this item" they are always "save $2 if you buy 10 of these totally unrelated items."

Coupons are supposed to save you money, not make you spend more money...

I’m pretty sure coupons were invented to make you spend more money by tricking you into thinking you needed $2 off an item they needed to get out of inventory… haha

    Totally!

But Kroger has some sort of algorhythm that mails me coupons for the exact items I buy there every week. And they're just straight up coupons with no catches. Only reason I don't do Kroger full time is because they always have things out of stock.

Temps have dropped to the 30's here and my furnace has stopped working.

Of course Centerpoint gave me an accurate and precise appointment between 7AM to 11PM today.

People who live their entire lives with a phone attached to their ear. I don't even like talking on the phone, much less doing it while I'm driving, shopping, walking around town, etc. Put your phone down and pay attention to what's going on around you!
