Really depends on playstyle and what they need from their second best player to compliment Edwards. Randle seems like an odd fit and they will miss KAT's gravity opening up the court for Edwards.

Randle has a player option for something crazy IIRC which he might end up taking because it'll be better than anything else he can get in free agency.

Possibly. Randle isn’t some non shooter though, he’s had several good to elite shooting seasons from 3. He’s also a better rebounder and passer.

I really like this move for the Knicks. With Brunson's discount, they can keep the Brunson/KAT/OG/Bridges core together for a while, and they are complementary pieces.

For the Timberwolves, I get it, but I don't love it, mostly because I don't love the Gobert/Randle fit. Ideally, Naz Reid starts and Randle/DDV destroy off the bench, but I can't imagine either being happy about that.

I'm surprised so many people like this trade for Minny. I thought they got straight robbed. I can understand they did it to save money but they got extremely worse and prob no longer a contender IMO.

Leon Rose IMO did the 2nd best rebuild job in recent memory, I'll put him above Stone and Rox and below OKC. Thats cuz Rose did his rebuild without tanking or a high draft pick. He also did a multi pronged approach involving trades, psychology, draft and striking on opportunities like spotting Jalen Brunson early and hiring his dad as coaching staff, and then leveraging on that Villanova connection to convince Brunson to take that massive discount. 100M discount for a max player? That's crazy.

Rose is a master of forming and leveraging on relationships. In some ways he reminds me of Morey being an unconventional GM hire except instead of analytics he has his connections and relationships as his specialty. OTH Morey just stats and never considered relationships, even got called a liar by a lot of his former players lol.

Money can be spent on wins. KAT isn't $190M better than DiVincenzo. Minn should be able to find a trade that makes them better with that $190M to play with.

Still trying to figure this one out. I guess it will make sense somehow a month or so after the season starts.

I think this man is going to be injury prone and break down, hes had a number of leg related injuries in the last few years.

Divicenzo is a good player but good pgs are a dime a dozen almost every team has one by now. You can always find good pgs you can't always find good stretch bigs like KaT just look at Julius Randle.

Yeah Randle can shoot but he is an abysmal 3 pt shooter at only 31% last year. He shoots a lot but bricks a lot his regular season efficiency is around Kat's playoff efficiency lol.

Minny dont have a lot of assets left since they got robbed by Utah and made one of the worst trades of all time. Its gonna be fun to see how this trade unfolds I think Knicks robbed them blind but I guess we will see.
