Ime citing Jabari's movement 3s as a development where he used to be a catch and shoot type of guy. Tari as another one that has improved his shooting. Amen's shot as more consistent.
Hmm, I can't imagine him spending anytime in RGV. I know it's only less than 1 minute of highlights, but damn. Please baby jesus, do not take this man's shooting ability away just because he is a Rocket.
I noticed it. That's the reason I stated that I don't think he will be spending time at RGV. I only mentioned the shooting part because I know that's his strength, I know the Rockets desperately need it, and too many times I've seen good shooters come to the Rockets only to lose their shooting touch. Amirite @DreamShook ?
Watched a lot of scrimmage videos, Jalen still looks like a chucker to me that bricks his 3s. Doubt he'll be getting the max next off-season. Reed looks outstanding, he shoots noticeably better from the left side of the court than the right. His mid-range pull up is gonna be huge for his game. Alpi looks great, I think he's going to make the all-star team this year. Cam looks great too, seems like he never misses in scrimmages. Dillon looked pretty bad offensively, defensively he's the same as last year. Didn't see too much of Jabari, I think he's always just gonna be in the background and you forget about him.
I never thought he'd ever spend any time in the valley. Of the guys we've drafted the last several years he's got the highest floor and one of the highest ceilings.
That last play on the second clip, watch Alpi, he directed the whole thing, from the PG to the wing, to him as the center, he even called in Cam for the dunk. This is why Alpi is special, he sees it all and is unselfish.
There are like 12 possessions total of scrimmage videos today. One where I saw Jalen Green miss a three. You must be predisposed to your position on Green to say such a sweeping statement about him over one missed three. It's kinda unhinged.
It'll continue. Even if he makes the all-star team and gets a max contract, they'll persist with their "the team's done with him, guaranteed" narrative. It holds about as much weight as "he'll definitely be gone by the deadline, they're done with him 100%" right before he had the best month run of anybody on the roster did all season.
