I havent been to a game at home in some years. I have travelled to a couple road games and my personal experience from those fanbases were that we were a chill crowd. This was a surprise! LOL
That's a mf'n lie! Who wrote this trash?? I'll punch 'em in the dycc... For realz, I think they got Texans and Cowboiz fans mixed up. We all know Texans' fans are among the most chill in the entire NFl fandom-sphere. Also, living in South Florida... I know for a fact that many Dolfans are among THE WORST
Wow between the penalties and the horrid run game it makes sense. I wonder how bad it looks if you take out the Colts game where Mixon ran wild.
My problem with Slowik is simply this. He has relied heavily on CJ to bail him out on 3rd down. He has some nice play design, but he has yet to figure out how to keep the Texans moving forward on first and second down. A trend that was there last last year. It’s only gotten worse.
I know passing game coordinator is something every team has, is running game coordinator not a thing?
Some teams employ them... usually have they have a highly sought after RB coach. They have really fallen off as of late as more and more teams emphasize their passing game.
This is from an OLD restored browser tab from August in another thread LOL. (Havent opened this browser in a while) A comment from Hey Now saying media hype train is built on excitement, but to be pragmatic about historical realities of NFL bursting bubbles. Its boring and a downer, but I agree its a sensible outlook. I tapped the brakes on the hype early As much as the good pieces can carry over, the questionable issues can carry over too. We're seeing those weak areas play out. Such as, safeties not getting picked on too much last year, now get targeted 5 times as much. That alone can be difference in games, before other issues. Cover one hole, another opens up. Thats the NFL life. Texans arent the only ones. They just have to work harder & smarter to beat that regression trend
