I agree. If you shoot 92% from 3, your team's efficiency will probably improve ... a bit. :D

I read somewhere that if an NBA player (barring bigs who don't shoot) can't hit something like 75% of their 3s in open practice, they won't make it in the league.

Yeah, I think that probably correlates to 35%+ in a game. I'd imagine Reed is hitting 20-30 in a row on a regular basis in practice.

regular people really don't understand how good NBA players really are. The Scalabrine Challenge always comes to mind. Dude was the laughingstock of the NBA but would body any off-the-street to D1 player that came to challenge him.

It wasn't just that Scalabrine beat the challengers, it's that he physically dominated every contestant. He just blew by them all and dunked on their heads, looking nothing like how he did in the NBA.

Guys, if Reed is a deadly weapon from long range, he's going to seriously cut into Cam's playing time.

Curry hits something like 90+ out of 100 (or there's a video of him out there shooting that) in practice, so he's an NBA player for sure.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Reed is in Fred's group and goes right behind him in all the drills.

I'd be shocked if Reed isn't given first crack at back up PG.

Saw him hit 35 FTs in a row during a shoot around at the MODA Center once. Missed his first 5 in the game.

Best shooter on the team - he will make a massive difference and make some expendable.
