My takeaways -Tim Walz comes across as a guy that can have a conversation with anybody, about anything -JD Vance managed to pass the low bar of not being an emotional child on stage or a raving lunatic (unlike his running mate). He still doesn't come across as any human you've ever met in real life. -Honestly, the only memorable line was JD's response to January 6th. He had mostly held it together until then, but then ate ****, and ate it hard. -Not having someone screaming the entire time was pleasant. At times it seemed like just two people having a discussion, without the hatred hanging over their head. I don't think I've ever heard someone older than 14 actually ever say it.
