What is the history of a team losing the first game of a three game series in the MLB playoffs and coming back to win the next two?
It's mostly hindsight. People were worried about the DP all day. Moving 2 RISP was the right move with 0 outs IMO.
Terrible but Astros will win this series if "luck" is at least even these final two games. I'm not even asking for luck being in our favor... just be even. Tigers got everything today.
Well, a handful of our guys game to play. Tough way to start this series. Really disappointed with some of them.
if the astros don't win the series, it's the first time they haven't made the alcs since '16 wihch is way more than anything you could asked for from this team; other fanbases don't get to see that
I really think Brown and Kikuchi have that dog in them. Brown going against his hometown team. Kikuchi proving he was worth it. Called LWW before the game and I’m sticking with it.
In that situation, anybody in their right mind would take extra innings. Pena was one of the worst GIDP guys this season. It doesn't help that Detroit got all the f***ing luck today.
